Chapter 2

Alexis' POV

I watched the clock as I tapped my foot waiting, once the clock struck 2:30 the bell rang and I squealed in joy as I ran through the halls and finally through the double doors with my friends.

"Woohoo summer is finally here!" I screamed,

"Woohoo fuck yes!" My friends chimed in. We got to the courtyard and I stared at my private school, I looked at the gorgeous fountain in front of the school. I watched as someone gets shoved into the fountain, I gasp seeing the face of the shover.

"Colton! What the fuck? Why would you do that?" I scream at him, god sometimes he can really just piss me off.

"Babe relax haha it was just a joke!" He replied giving me his devilish smile playing with my cheerleader skirt. I pushed his hands away and crossed my arms. "Apologize to this poor girl. Now!" He rolled his eyes

"Sorry poor girl" Then he grabbed my wrist dragging me away. My friends following closely behind, I stopped

"Colton let go of my wrist, your hurting me." That only made him tighten his grip and continued to drag me, I pounded on his chest yelling

"Let go Colton I mean it!" Suddenly I hear a voice

"Hey! Man, the lady said let go!" Colton stopped and glared at him then let go of my wrist. I rubbed my wrist, he was squeezing way too tight! I stared at the young man who just saved me? Suddenly Colton punches the man and they get into a brawl, fists punching, legs kicking, I couldn't watch. Moments later security is having the boys pulled away from each other shouting profanities. I can see that Colton is beat up. Badly. All I could do was bid my goodbyes to my friends, get into my high end mercedes, and drive away. I parked my car in the garage and headed inside, I was greeted by my nanny Noel, she raised me since I was little, along side my other nanny Kandi,  and truth be told the two of them have been more of a mom to me than my real mother had! I dropped my bag on the floor, kicked off my shoes and dove onto the plush couch.

"How was your day dear?" Noel asked in her sweet motherly voice."

"Mom it was great until Colton had to ruin it!"

"Tsk tsk, I knew that boy was no good! I had an inkling!" I just sighed,

"Mom can you please make some cookies? I am starving!" She simply nodded and headed into the kitchen. My butler Boris came in,

"Ms. Holbrook, your mother called today to inform you, she has to cancel the dinner tonight." I rolled my eyes

"Of course! This happens everytime!" He cleared his throat,

"I also wanted to let you know that Mr. Carter is downstairs in the lobby."

"Okay cool send him in!" He just nodded his head and left the room. I sat up and waited for my best friend.

"Evan!" My eyes lit up as I got up and ran to him jumping on him,

"Great to see you too Lexi!" He wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me. I untangled my legs from his waist and he put me down. His smile disappeared when he saw my wrist his eyes narrowed,

"Did Colton do this?" He said, gently grabbing my wrist

"Yeah but it's okay Evan really." He just gave me one of his 'Are you fucking serious?' looks and sat on the couch. Just then Noel came in and sat a plate of cookies in front of us. Evan and I talked and talked eating cookies, until his mom called him home. We bid our goodbyes, hugged then he left. I got out of my cheerleading uniform and put on some pjs. I watched the 'Time Traveler's Wife' in my room then fell asleep.
