Love hurts

"Taylor," I hear Octavian behind me. His footsteps echo on the floor of my small kitchen.

"Yes?" I ask while turning towards him. There was a certain hardness in his eyes making me nervous.

"I hope you don't have anything going on today, because I plan on making you mine....officially," his eyes turned black with lust while he raked his eyes over me. Does he seriously think this is going to happen now?

He rushes towards me pressing me to the wall. "Stop!" I scream. He gives me a confused look but after a moment continues his hands wandering over my body. This time I don't say stop I bite him hard and I don't release until he backs up a low growl sounding in the back of his throat.

"How dare you bite your alpha and your mate!" He yells his wolf on the verge of surfacing, "I hereby exile you, get out and don't return if I ever see you on my packs land again I will kill you!"

I don't hesitate I shift and run. I run From tis god forsaken place. The constant beat of my heart is my only comfort. I run to the place that I have loved from the first day I found it. I shift back to my human form and move to the edge. No going back. Three. Two. One. Jump.

It's as good as the first time I love the freedom falling gives you. You can spin twirl glide flip and there are no limits. I brace myself for the water that will come. Crack! What was that? I look at my leg threw the water and notice its bent at an odd angle. The pain is unbearable and I'm ready to black out when I feel strong steady arms around my body. Once I'm out of the water I see the face of my rescuer. Austin?
