Friends enemies and brunch

I wake up to a shout alarm. Ugh why does it have to be morning? If you can't tell I hate mornings especially this morning. I'm supposed to have brunch with some werewolves my age from the pack.

I arrive at a quaint little cottage and head inside. Pink everywhere pink this pink that pink everything from floor to ceiling. A couple girls turn from their gossip to look at me.

"Hello, you must be Taylor," one of them says and I nod, "well you have quite an interesting look don't you?" She asks but it's more of a comment. I glance down at what I'm wearing its a black shirt and designer jeans with a necklace that my mom gave me when I was little. When I look back up they are all smiling like gremlins.

"Charlotte?"

"Yes Amy?" She responds

"Why is it that the alpha and beta like her when she looks like....well you know," Amy asks her. It's rude but Charlotte seems to have gotten mad too.

"Amy," she says her voice edgy and frail cracking at the end, "the alpha does not like her he can't she's a nobody a nothing! She's just a little outcast from a little outcast pack! And if any of you think Michael will pick her over me then you are crazy because I am Luna! Me! Not her"

"Sounds like some one has issues," I mumble, when she whips around and glares at me I give her a wolffish grin, "oh I'm sorry did I say that?" I ask in a mocking tone. But she doesn't respond she jumps at me shifting in mid air. Ugh why does this always happen to me? I dodge but she lands and whips around to face me her wolf is starting to take over. She jumps again and I do too but I don't shift I lean slightly to the left throwing out my arms hitting her on the side with as much power as possible. She hits the wall and that's when I shift my white wolf showing herself. And they all hit the floor bellies up and showing their throats. Wait what? Why?

That's when I remember the day I ran the pack I met. She was there and the leader was Michael!
