Dani's POV
Lauren and I were laying on the grass in our back yard making things out of the clouds.
"Look," she said pointing up at a cloud that looked like a hand. "That looks like an Octopus!"
"No way, that's a hand!" I exclaim.
"No! It's an Octopus!" she yelled turning over and tickling me.
"N-No, Laur-Laurie Stop, Pl-Please." I choke out between laughs.
"Say it's a Octopus."
"Fine, Fine. It's a- an Octopus." I say and she instantly stops tickling me.
"Was that so hard?" she asks simply.
I was about to answer when Lauren's phone went off.
"It's Lisa," Laur says.
"Ooohhh put her on speaker." I say.
"Fine," Laur says picking up the call and putting it on speaker. "Hello there fellow earthling." she says as I try to contain my laughter.
"Why are you so weird?" Lise asks though the phone.
"Because it's one of my many talents." she says tilting her head and using her 'I'm perfect' tone.
"Whatever, anyways Chris wants to know when we're getting your stuff to our house?"
"Getting her stuff to your house? What do you mean?" I ask confused.
"Lauren's moving some stuff with us, didn't she tell you?" Lisa says in a 'duh' tone.
What? Lauren's moving out?
I look at Lauren and she just looked in shock.
"No, I guess I'm not important enough to her." I say starting to stand up.
"No wait, Dan. It's not like that." Lauren starts to say standing up also.
"I think it is Lauren Christine." I say before turning and running to an old train station Lauren, Christian and I found that's about a mile from our house.
When I finally got there I look at my phone and see 87 messages from Lauren and 25 from Lisa.
I texted the group chat I have with my sisters and mom I'm staying at a friends house tonight, I'll be back before dinner tomorrow then turned off my phone.
Lauren's POV
"Lisa! I haven't told her yet! I was going to tell her tonight but now she's staying at a quote on quote friends house." I say angrily though the phone.
"I'm sorry Lady bug, I didn't know I was on speaker." she says sympathetically.
"No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't be angry at you, the only person I should be mad at is myself." I say hanging up and heading off to sleep.
It's been almost an hour since I tried to head to sleep but all I could think about was Dani and for some reason my mind kept going to the train station.
***Flashback***
"DDDDAAAANNNNIIIIII!!! IIIII'MMMMMM BBBBOOOORRRRREEEEDDDD!!" I called.
"LLLAAAUUURRREEEENNNN IIII'''MMM BBOORREEDD TTTOOOO!!"
"Wanna go on an adventure?" she asked and I nod shouting "Mom! Dan and I are going on an adventure! Be back before dinner!" to our mom who yells a simple okay in response.
"Hey Laur, Hello Danielle." Christian said walking out of his room.
"Hello Chris, what's up?" Dan asks.
"I'm bored and I heard that y'all are going on a adventure, can I come?"
"First off, Y'all?? We've been here less than two weeks and you're already picking up the lingo? And second off, yeah sure." I say laughing at the first bit.
"Yea!! Let's penny board around town!" Chris says fist bumping Dani.
After going around the neighborhood a few times we decided to follow the tracks we see beside the road and after a few minutes we found an abandoned train station.
We spent the rest of the day there just hanging out with each other as bestfriends
***End of Flashback***
I decided, there is no way I can leave Dan here as the only girl.
I decided to call Dani even though I know she's probably turned off her phone.
"Hey you've reach Dani, I can't get to the phone right now or it's off or I'm on tour with my sisters so... YEET! Leave a message and I might call you back... ORR NAAHH." her voicemail said making me smile when she said 'or on tour with my sisters"
"Hey Dan, It's me. If you could call me when you wake up or when you turn your phone back on, I would just like to explain. I'm not moving in with Kath, Lise, Christina and Amy. I was debating weather or not to, and when Lise said 'when do you want to get your stuff to our house' she meant when I was going over to their house with some of my stuff and seeing if my stuff would fit in their extra room. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I love you, please call. Bye Spice." I say hanging up and trying to get some sleep again.
Dani's POV
I woke up and turned on my phone and see a new voicemail from Sugar <3 aka Lauren.
"Hey Dan, It's me. If you could call me when you wake up or when you turn your phone back on, I would just like to explain. I'm not moving in with Kath, Lise, Christina and Amy. I was debating weather or not to, and when Lise said 'when do you want to get your stuff to our house' she meant when I was going over to their house with some of my stuff and seeing if my stuff would fit in their extra room. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I love you, please call. Bye Spice."
I love you too Laurie was all I thought after she hung up and I decided to call her back. She picked up on the first ring.
"Hey Dani, I'm really really sorry. I shou-" she started before I cut her off.
"Laur, you don't have to apologize. I over exaggerated. I'll be home soon okay?" I said picking the few things I brought.
"No, where are you I'll come pick you up."
"You don't have to Sugar I can walk."
"Yeah no, let me come and pick you up."
"If you insist, I'm at the train station."
"The abandoned one? Dani, that place is really dangerous. What if something happened to you during the night?" she asked with concern evident in her voice.
"I'm fine mom." I said jokingly.
"Okay I'll be there in 5 minutes, I love you."
"I love you to Sugar." I said and hung up.
I'm glad she's not leaving but did I stop her from doing what she wants?
