We've been driving for such a long time, rotating shifts as drivers. I lay in the passenger seat with my head on Dean's thigh. Happily listening to the third rerun of the eye of the tiger album by survivor. My hands taps the beat on my stomach while Dean hums along. Cas is off somewhere, flying around or something and Sam is reading I'm the back.

"Is anyone hungry?" I ask, eyes still closed.

"Took the words right out of my mouth, kiddo." Dean says, turning slightly to look at Sam.

"Yea food." Sam mumbles before Dean can even ask his question, absorbed in his book. Dean turns back with a shrug.

"Well, first place I see that's where we are going.' Dean states, turning up the music and rolling down his window. Loudly, the two of us sing along. Sounding as bad as possible. I'm actually laughing and smiling, goofing around. This is the best feeling in the world. Since that night, almost 3 days ago now, there is still I pain in my heart but these guys are really helping me heal. A family who actually cares, that fights for one another, I wonder if my original family was anything like this before they died.

Dean pulls the impala into the parking lot of a small diner on the outskirts of another small town and I reluctantly sit up. Sam reaches over to turn down the radio before he climbs out of the car with Dean and I not far behind. Cas blips up in front of us, startling Dean and Sam but bringing a simple smile to my face.

"Hey angel cake." I say, pulling him into me by his trench coat and planting a kiss on his lips. He tries to fight back a smile, Cas puts his hands on my shoulders and guides me around to walk in front of him into the diner. Dean is laughing behind me with Sam snickering as well. As I enter the diner, I slap down a twenty on to the counter.

"I need four slices of pie." I tell her, giggling as I grab hold of Castiel's hand to stop him from getting into a booth with the guys. Finally, letting my real weird self shine through. The waitress nods at me with a smile and turns around to tell the chef behind her about my order. With my fingers laced in between Castiel's, I lead him to the booth that Dean and Sam have taken over. They smile up at me, stopping their discussion of the hunt.

"You look happy." Cas whispers into my ear before sliding into the seat next to Dean while I take up a spot beside Sam. I smile at him, beaming because yes, yes I am happy. There is no one who is going to beat me when I get home, no one who is telling me I am worthless or useless and that is amazing.

"I am happy." I say, unashamed, Dean and Sam both give a small chuckle. They don't mind my goofiness or my weirdness. The waitress comes and places the plates of food in front of each of us. Dean looks like its Christmas and Sam smiles softly.

"So about the case, Dean we need to figure out a strategy." Cas says, turning our attentions to the more somber matter. We begin discussing our next move..

"There's been a ring of strange killings happening about an hour from here." Sam says, much to our shock.

"How did you even know that?" I ask, staring at him while stuffing my face full of pie. Imitating Dean. Sam smirks softly before answering.

"Unlike you two, I actually read the newspaper. On my phone." He says, wiggling is phone at us. I roll my eyes at his smug little attitude and turn back to my plate. My eyes roam over the table until I settle on just looking at Castiel. The way he keeps his hands carefully folded in front of himself, even the way he intently scans the room while everyone talks is sexy. As his eyes meet mine I give him a little wink that makes him blush, the guys don't notice our little flirts. I blow him a little kiss just to tease him a bit. He smiles at me, judging whether or not he should reciprocate. He settles for reaching over and holding my hand, gently making small circles with his thumb. I smile at him, finding it cute that he doesn't know how to flirt. I play with his hand, only half listening to the boys.
