My head rests in Castiel's lap, his hand soothingly stroking my hair all over the seat beside him, as we all conversed about our plan to face Lilith. The only one who hasn't spoken is Sam, he looks quite nervous like he is harbouring some dark secret. I know Dean notices this too but for some reason he has decided not to say anything. A palpable tension is hanging thickly in the car.

"I say, we smoke her out." I mumble, enjoying the feeling of Cas' hand playing with my hair with closed eyes.

"How do we do that?" Dean asks with a voice full of attitude. Cas is silently wondering the same thing, from what I can feel from his demeanor.

"Maybe we could get something that she wants and then use it as rand-some." I suggest with a shrug. Honestly, I can't think of anything that she would want badly enough to reveal herself for because what she is doing now is amazing. Always one step ahead of us, never letting us get to close no matter what happens, using other demons as distractions and deterrents. This chick is a genius.

"Like what?" Is my response from both Dean and, finally, Sam.

"Do we have any objects that may aid her or maybe some information?" I ask, knowing that we probably had nothing. Gathering up the little willpower I have left, I sit up and draw my knees up to my chest.

"I am certain that there is nothing." Cas says, folding his hands in his lap. Dean lets out an exasperated growl while smashing his hand against the steering wheel.

"I'm sick of this bitch having the upper hand!" He huffs, pouting like an upset child. I tilt my head back, trying to clear my head. A walk may help, we have been driving forever.

"Can we pull over so I can just clear my head?" I ask, draping my arms over Dean's shoulder and pouting at him through the mirror. Cas pulls me back into him, not liking the attention I'm giving Dean.

"Yea, we'll stop at the next road side diner or town." He says.

"Do you frequently take walks to think?" Sam asks, turning to look at me with deep brown eyes.

"Usually I don't need to because I take my motorcycles, but this car is so confining. Not that I don't love it." I say, pushing off of Cas' lap. Sam flashes me a quick, understanding smile before turning back to look at the road. Maybe I should invite Sam to walk with me but I really need to clear my head.

Dean pulls over into a dirt park way leading into a small field.

"Go for your walk and take Sam with you, Cas and I are gonna go into town. We'll be back for you in an hour." He growls, seeming to feel a little smothered by all the conflicting emotions in such a confined space. I suddenly notice how tired and worn Dean looks, he hasn't been sleeping all that well from the looks of it.

"Come on Sammy." I say, giving Cas a quick loving peck on the cheek before easing out of the car with Sam.

I turn back, reaching to push one of my lucky knives into Castiel's coat pocket.

"That's my lucky knife. I only have two but that one is the first knife I ever killed something with." I say with a wink as Sam pulls me away, by the sleeve.

"I do not see how a--I will bring it back safely." Cas corrects with a quick slap from Dean. I flash them both a smile as I walk away with Sam. The engine fades slowly into the background as we part.

Sam's shoulders are hunched, his hand stuffed into his pockets and he's wearing a complimentary turtle face as he stares straight ahead.

"You can see the family resemblance between you and Dean when you do that." I chuckle, faltering slightly at the look in his eyes.
