I grabbed my heavy school bag and bounded out of my room, excited for the first day of school.
“Charlie! Are you ready?” it was my mum.
“Yeah mum!” I called, running down the hallway like the Olympic athlete I am.
Let’s get this straight. I’m not keen on the whole learning part of school, but my friends are the best people in my life, and that’s the only reason why I was so excited about going to school.
First there’s Maddie. She’s small, hyper and absolutely gorgeous. Her blue eyes are crystal clear and she has this thin brown hair that she can style in any way and look amazing. She’s obsessed with Little Mix, and she can sing, like, really well…
Then there’s Penny. Penny is calm all the time, she’s funny and she can always take a joke. Her hair is brown, but it’s naturally lighter towards the bottom. She has hazel eyes and is also an amazing singer.
Next there’s Millie. Millie is tall, like me, except she’s a year older than the rest of us because she started school when she was older. She was probably the prettiest out of all of us, but also the most talented, sport wise. Her whole body was tanned from spending waaay too much time outside and her brown hair and hazel eyes were to die for. Millie is probably the most like me, hyper sometimes; calm the rest of the time, she makes random comments and loves to dance. She has the most infectious laugh, and it has been the centre of many class jokes.
And finally there’s Danielle, or Dani. Dani is my fellow Directioner, we are dedicated. I can always share an inside joke with her because she has one of the best senses of humour! Dani has curly black hair and brown eyes because she’s half Chinese, which I think is cool! She is friendly and easy to get along with because of her carefree nature.
Now; to tell you a bit about me.
My name is Charlie Evanders. I am 16 years of age and I have dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. I also have freckles dotted across my cheeks and nose. I’m one of the tallest in my class and I like to think I’m a pretty good dancer… J
Anyway, I caught the bus into school and made my way to my locker quickly because I’d missed the first bell.
My school was a typical Australian high school. We have a summer uniform, a winter uniform, the popular kids and the nerds. Boring teachers and subjects, and everyone LOVES P.E.
Nothing much to it.
“OH MY GOD HI CHARLIE!” squealed Maddie as I entered the classroom awkwardly because everyone was looking at me.
“Hey Maddie, what’s up?” I asked, knowing she was excited to tell me something.
“Isaac hugged Millie! Milsaac forever!” she cried.
Isaac was a popular boy in our class who was… Good looking let’s just say. Anyway, Millie and Isaac were pretty good friends, but the rest of us gals had made a joke and started shipping them together because we’re cool like that.
