We've known each other for a week...

After a week and a bit, school ended and the spring holidays began, causing great excitement because the girls and I had already planned what we were going to do, including meet One Direction.

We had met up at Millie’s house, dressed casually for a day in town, and then caught the bus together to the cinemas, where we decided to go shopping before the movie.

“So, when are they coming?” asked Frankie as we browsed the window of an expensive shop.

“Uh today actually, three o’clock this afternoon,” I said with a smile.

Frankie’s smile disappeared.  “But Grace, Louise and I have a party at Wendy Jenner’s today!” she told me.

Wendy Jenner was a popular snob that Frankie, Louise and Grace were BFF’s with.

“Well you’re going to have to choose your priorities,” Dani told them.

“I’m going to Wendy’s,” Frankie announced.

Everyone turned to stare at her.

“What?  You choose a rich snob over One Direction?” Penny cried, obviously unable to believe her ears.

“No, Wendy invited us like, seven weeks ago, we can’t bail out on her now,” Louise told us.

“Still!  You’re choosing Wendy; let me say that again, Wendy over One Direction?  Geez you guys are demented,” Maddie said, shaking her head.

“Well I agree with Louise, we can’t bail out on her now or we’ll be dead meat,” Grace said.

“Dead meat?  Seriously?  I can’t believe my ears.  Charlie?  Are you hearing this?” Dani asked, pointing at Frankie.

I shrugged.  “I don’t mind what they choose,” I told her.

“Come on girls, these ‘friends’ of ours obviously don’t understand our priorities,” Frankie said, turning around and walking away, Louise and Grace left to follow her.

“They’re gone!” Millie cried as soon as they’d disappeared.

I knew she didn’t like them, but she didn’t have to be that open about it…  Meh.  It’s Millie; of course she’s going to be open about that.

“Come on guys!  We need to get to the cinema before the movie starts,” Maddie told us, leading us away from the shops and towards the big theatre.

After we’d finished watching whatever the hell we watched, it was 2:30 and Niall had texted me saying they were about twenty minutes away from my house, which was where we had arranged to meet.

We literally jumped onto the bus and chatted excitedly all the way home.

“What if they’re here already?” Dani asked as we walked up my driveway.

“Uh, I don’t think so, they’re coming up the street now,” I said as I spotted a long black car driving towards us.

“Oh my god guys, I don’t think I can handle this,” Penny said, breathing heavily.

“You’ll be fine, they’re only boys,” I said, waving as Niall hopped out of the car, grinning as he saw us.

“Oh good, we got the right house,” said a voice.

Louis appeared, stretching his legs and wearing a ridiculous ‘Aussie’ hat.

The rest of the boys climbed out and smiled at us as they reached us, about halfway up the driveway.
