The birds fought with a vengeance for the fallen monsters and many of good men died by there claws. Luckily though nirva met them with a uppercut of undergrowth which sliced into them sending them downwards spiralling into the rocky underside of the path. The men surged fore-ward to the ruined city and no matter how many adversaries met them they seemed to immediately respond and utterly DESTROY them. And so the raid continued with the screeches of death and the sound of victory.
They made it near the apartments littered with makeshift tents and homes. To which more fluttered out and again flames and other energies shot out. Bodies fell and were flung into the air...until THEY came.
13 of them.......creatures in black armor began tearing through the men when the armies reached the towns heart. One of them actually used a element.....water......ice and steam flowed out and stung the men to death....drowning...burning.......all the horrible ways to die had happened over less than 4 minutes....and as a result most of the armies front lines had fallen and nirva being a good healer was busy...even if he was a higher officer he still tended to wounds along with fellow medics. And then IT happened.....one of the other black clad creatures started targeting medics and almost hit nirva TWICE however it was avoided with a wary hakubi who slung fire in response. The fighting had hit a stand still and it was as if those things....the ones in armor were the perfect soldiers. So much death....on both sides.
Nirva was still healing people...he didnt even notice the metalical arrow flying towards him....Neither did hakubi....and well. It stuck nirva between the shoulders and before he could even notice it...the sinister arrow detonated taking nirva and 4 soldiers around him into the next life. Hakubi heard it and turned around.
The night was pretty warm...it usually is around the city...even if it is in ruins.
