"So, what is all this stuff for anyways?" Seungcheol questioned Jeonghan as they sat in a small cafe. After the raven haired boy calmed down from his panic attack, scoups had the idea to get him something to eat. He's not too sure why he thought giving him food would make anything better, but he seemed to enjoy it.
The older, sat across from Jeonghan, watched as he happily ate the slice of strawberry cake that was bought for him. The boys eyes seemed brighter as he chewed on the treat, favoring every bite.
Seungcheol couldn't help the slight smile of contempt on his face while observing the others antics. He rested his head on his hand before turning his gave our the window, realizing he was staring.
"Hmm?" Jeonghan hummed, still eating the frosted food. He missed what scoups said before, being to happy about his sugar high. This made the short haired male lightly chuckling before pointing to the large box and backpack sitting on the floor under their table.
"What are you doing carrying this much stuff around the streets of the big city? Are you headed somewhere?"
Jeonghan tucked his chin length hair behind his ear, quickly swallowing a large bite of cake to respond.
"I'm honestly a little lost. A friend of mine from high school lives somewhere around here and I'm suppose to move in with him." He looked down at his hands are started slightly picking at his cuticles in nervous habit. "But my phone died and the taxi dropped me off in this area. I don't know where the apartment is so I was just wandering around."
Seungcheol noticed how he would anxiously twiddle his fingers, scratching at the skin around his nails. Something make him want to reach out and hold his hands to make them stop causing pain to themselves.
If this were a sappy movie, maybe I would. But, we just met... I don't even know the guy really... Why did I even offer to buy him food? Sure it's a nice offer but he could be crazy for all I know?! These thoughts were quickly dismissed when Jeonghan looked at him with a confused expression, waiting for a response.
"I don't have a phone charger on me, but if you know his number you can just use my phone to call him." After offering this help, Seungcheol mentally slapped himself. Yet again, he doesn't know this boy so why is he getting himself so involved in his life already.
"I actually don't know Jisoo's number by heart. But thank's for the offer, I'll just start looking aga-" Jeonghan was suddenly cut off by a wide-eyed scoups.
"Did you say Jisoo? As in Hong? As in Joshua? As in Jesus lover Jisoo Christ?" Seungcheol slightly laughed at his own joke, snickering to himself. The pretty haired male nodded his head enthusiastically at the mention if his friends name. "Yea, I know him. He works for me at my music shop and is among my closest friends."
At those words, Jeonghan's smile grew bigger, his shoulders rising and body tensing up is joy.
"Thank god! I don't think I could have found it on my own honestly but I didnt want to bother you any more than I already have" Blushing from embarrassment, Jeonghan started to pick get his things together.
Seungcheol let out a warm laugh is response, already having his phone by his ear calling Jisoo.
Jeonghan watched him waiting for an answer, observing the conversation but only hearing scoups' side of the conversation.
"Oh, hey, yea. So, I'm here with your new roommate Jeonghan?"
After a moment of Seungcheol listening to Joshua's response, his eyes looked to Jeonghan's with a questioning expression.
"Umm, I happened to let up with him because.."
The last words was a bit to drawn out as he decided wether or not to share the true story with Jisoo. Does Jeonghan want him to know about that incident?
Once he saw the longer haired male shaking his head quickly, wide eyes and hands up in defense, he knew not to inform Jisoo on what went on in the alley.
"Oh, yea, because he came into... The shop..., yea the shop! 'cause he was asking for direction to your apartment and I told him I knew who you were!" Seungcheol grinned widely, convinced that his story was impeccable. All Jeonghan could do was sigh and slightly shake his head from second hand embarrassment.
"No, it's not like that. Jisoooooo, stop fooling around. Okay, see you soon then!" Seungcheol hung up and turned to Jeonghan. "Looks like I'm your escort"
