May Rain

You surprised me today.
Then again you always have.
Before I knew you, you were always there being amazing. Yet you were always far away from me, you were off in another world. I could never get to that world, but then somehow, you let me in. I thought someone like you would ever look at me.
I never thought, but I'm grateful that your mine.
I was nervous about begin with you at first, then you surprised me.
You called and said you needed me. That's never happened, I've never been needed before. We talked all night untill you were okay.
Today I found you outside in the rain, just standing there. Like you had found this amazing moment of peace. I was memorized by you.
I walked out and stood next to you. We didn't have to say a word, we just stood there in the rain. You held my hand and you said,
"I wish there were more people like you the world."
"What kind of people?" I asked.
You looked at me and smiled.
"The beautiful kind."
I'm so happy that it rains in May.
