Baring a burden from when she was born,
forced into playing this roll,
all she ever wanted was love.

Well, she smiled she danced on the stage,
no one knew of the pain she faced,
her angel wings broke into pieces.

The fallen Angel.

He once used to rule the world,
then one mistakes cost him his throne,
all he wanted was to feel safe.

His people stoned him and tied him down,
broke his legs and took his crown,
and the kingdom sang,

"Here's the fallen king!"

They wanted a child but, she could bare no fruit,
he saw a mistress and found her in a secret room,
the temptations eat their love.

His guilt ate him away,
She laid alone and cried for three days,
in the night she sang

"How could you fall away?"

In a bed laying awake,
Lies a little girl waiting for the next day,
maybe mommy and daddy will be better in the morning.

She hears them as they fight,
hoping God hears her prayers at night.
Asking, begging God,

"Don't let them fall."

I held her hand as she melted away,
behind her eyes lies so much pain,
fighting the longest of battles.

She cried and screamed into the air,
fell to her knees and cut her hair,
She got down and asked God

"Why am I the fallen one?"

All good men fall,
all good men loose it all,
sometimes.
