Finally it was the big day. The wedding day. I was at my boyfriend's house, his sister was helping me get ready along with my little sister.

(This is what Kaci is wearing.) I looked nice, but mom was absolutely beautiful. (Wedding attire at top) I walked to her, and we hugged. My bros came in, and they smiled. "I can tell Mark that you look stunning," he joked. We all laughed, and went back to our business. "Mom, you look amazing," I said in awe. She smiled and hugged me. "Baby, are you okay with this? I mean, me marrying Mark," she asked. I looked at her and nodded. "Mom, I want nothing more than you to be happy, and with Mark you are. The happiest I've seen you in a long time. If you wanna go through, then me, Brian, Ari and Miguel will support you every step of the way," I replied. She started crying, and she hugged me again. It was time. My uncle Dwayne was walking my mom down the isle, and my brother was walking me down the isle. I would be 2nd to leave the room. I walked down the isle, sweating in nervousness. This is probably how mom felt, very nervous. I saw dad look at me, and I smiled. I soon saw my dad's expression when he saw mom. His eyes almost popped out. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to bond these two people in holy matrimony. They have written vows for each other. Jenny would you like to begin," the preacher asked. "Mark, when we first met, it was under harsh conditions. At first, I didn't know that we'd be married, and now, I'm glad that I met you. I'm glad you gave me your number, but I'm glad that from today on, I will be forever yours, and you will be forever mine. I am blessed to be yours and I wouldn't have it any other way," my mom said," I'm ready for whatever obstacles life throws at us. We are a team, a family and we will get through life together. If there was anyone that I was willing to sacrifice my life for, it'd be my family because they mean the world to me, and I would rather see them live, see them thrive, and live to have a family. That is what I hope with us. I hope to bear your children one day, to see them grow up, and to see them have kids of their own. I love you, Mark, with all my heart, and I'm glad that were getting married." That speech was wonderful. I wasn't intending to cry, but I did anyway. It was soon Mark's turn. "Jennifer, we did meet under tense times. But since our first date, I could tell I wanted to spend more and more time with you. I love you, and I want you in my life. Without you, I'm incomplete, and I feel lost without you. I hope you can forgive me when I'm in a bad mood, and I hope that someday we can have a family. I love the kids you have now, and I will do everything in my power to make sure that they're safe and happy. I love you," Mark said. Mom started crying a little as did I. It was National Crying Day (not really, it's a joke). "If there is anyone who thinks these two should not get married, speak now or forever hold your piece," the preacher said. I looked around, and everyone was quiet. Mom asked Ari, Brian, Miguel, and they said go for it if she's happy with him. "Kaci," she looked at me with a smile. That's when I had an emotional breakdown. "Mom, I can't make this choice for you. If your happy with him, then go ahead and become Mrs. Calaway. All I can say is to follow your heart, and let it guide you," I sobbed before I walked away. I went outside to get my ego back together. "Hey," I heard Mark say. I looked at him, and I cried in his chest. He hugged me, and calmed me down. "I'm sorry I ruined the wedding with what I said," I sobbed. "Hey," he said lifting my chin," What you said didn't ruin the wedding. What you said was advice. I took those words to heart, and your mother did, too. Don't think that it's your fault because it isn't," he said. "I screwed up, though," I sobbed again. "Your mother is very proud of you, you know. She said when times were tough and everyone was upset or mad, you always knew what to say to chipper people up. You cares about other people's feelings, and I admire that from you. That's why were proud of you. You speak your mind, and give great advice. I love you, and I want you in there before we continue the wedding," he said. I smiled, hugged him, and we went back inside. Everyone cheered for us. "Do you, Mark Calaway, take Jennifer Garcia to be your wife?" "I do," Mark said which made me smile. "Do you, Jennifer Garcia, take Mark Calaway to be your husband?" "I do," my mom replied which made me smile more. "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," the preacher said. Mark and mom kissed, and that made me cry. I was so happy for them. Brian came over and hugged me, trying to comfort me. Mark and Mom saw us, and they hugged us.
