Chapter 10- Blood

I woke up to my phone ringing. I groan and grab my phone.

"Hello"

"WHY DID YOU DITCH US." Yelled Rose I groaned.

"I-I didn't feel good and I didn't want to bother anyone so I walked home." I rushed out

"Oh. Okay then just let me know next time. I'll see you Monday Scarlette."

And ended the call I got out of bed and took a nice warm shower I love days like this when the sun is warmth. I why vampires won't burn. Do they. I know Rose doesn't or Audriana. I decide to wear cute black jeans with a white flower top , nude flats and to top it off a messy bun.

I text my letting her know I'm going to walk around. I heard there was a park around. I pull up directions and get there in 12 minutes. As I walk I constantly look behind me getting a weird feeling I shake it off and continue walking. The park was really cute red and blue swing sets and a yellow jungle gym.

I sit down on the swing and just push myself a little I think about what other kids would do with their parents and family. I haven't seen my dad since I was 10 so it's been 7 long years. I loved him so much and one day he disappeared.

I spend an hour at the park just thinking I see bathroom stalls and walk towards it. I go to open the door but my mouth gets covered and I'm thrown onto the floor. A man or maybe a vampire with a black mask appears. I try to get up but he kicks me down. He picks up face.

"Are you a vampire?" He asks me

"What?" I don't know who this guy is, I decide to play dumb.

"Tell me, do you know anything about vampires?" And grips me face tighter

"N-no" he roughly threw my face to the concrete. I saved myself some of the pain and stopped my head from hitting to hard. Before I could relax I felt a sharp burning pain. I screamed, and tears clouded my vision,

"Hmm not a vampire, till me meet again, Scarlette."

I heard the door open and slam. I looked down I screamed at the slight. He stabbed a wooden steak in my right leg. I tried to get up but it hurt to much and started to cry. I search on my pockets. Where the f*ck is my phone! I'm only swearing because I'm freaking out. I lay my head down on the cold concrete. The door burst open. I started to cry again, I couldn't see who it was.

"Get away from me." I screamed and tried to shuffle backwards

"Scarlette what happened." I recognized that voice.....
