I take a deep breathe and stare at Nathan.
"Thank you." I whisper
"Well if you were more careful we wouldn't have this problem." He said looking at the ground I flinched at his tone.
Why was he mad? I'm thankful he saved me but still doesn't have to be a jerk.
"You don't have to be a jerk about it, sorry you wasted your time." Slipped out of my mouth.
I quickly turn and reach for the door but before I could open it, his arm comes behind my head closes it. I turn around, I'm not going to lie I'm scared, I forget that these people are vampires I swallow hard. He looks at me for a second then removes his arm and leaves the room. Okay then...

I finally enter the lunch room and spot Rose and Audriana, I noticed there was a girl I didn't know. Blonde hair and gorgeous blue eyes.
"Hey! Scarlette, meet Avery." Smiled Audriana
Avery smiled and nodded her head.
I sat down, the girls talked and giggled I could I quite focus...Damian just attacked me then got saved by Nathan who knows my secret.
"Scarlette what do you say?" Grinned Rose
"Umm.? What?" I shook my head. crap.
"Do you want to come to a party this weekend on Saturday, it will be fun!" Exclaimed Rose, one thing I loved about Rose is that she was always happy.
"Yeah sure" I smiled.
I turned my head looking around, the girl continued talking. My eyes stopped when they landed on the grey-blue eyes I know too well. Nathan. He doesn't hold my gaze for a while basically only 3 seconds and turns back. I see a guy at the table with the same color hair of Avery. I squint my eyes. The lunch bell rings and I snap out of it, I make my way towards the door with the group.
