•Chapter Five•

Recap:

"Amaya, we're in a public Rhyme field. We were forcibly dragged into Rhyme!" Shadow says in a panicked voice.

"What?! That's impossible!"

"Aoba; Amaya, something's coming." Ren says.

Aoba and I follow Ren's line of sight and what I see shocks me.

[Amaya's POV]

Someone with a rabbit head stands there.

"Does that mean Rhyme has started?!" he asks.

"Phhhtt.."

I immediately cover my mouth as I want to laugh. I know I shouldn't be laughing because this is a serious and dangerous situation, but... it's a bunny head. It's a bunny with a doctor's coat. It's tongue is sticking out. It's cute... I can't...

"This time."

Shivers run down my spine as he speaks. I should have already figured that this guy is very serious, even though his outfit is cute.

"This time, it is such an honor."

"So let's have a fun game, shall we?"

"A-A-A-Amaya, i-it's coming..!" Shadow says, frightened.

"It's approaching?! Aoba, what should we do?!" I ask, slightly stepping back.

It's been such a long time since I've played Rhyme that I don't remember any attacks.

"I-I don't know!"

A green and black(?) cube falls and emits a white light. It turns into a cute, white rabbit with red shoes and boxing gloves. More cubes becomes like that and one of the bunnies, wearing a different outfit than the rest, shouts:

"DEATH set!"

"Roger!!"

Symbols appear and the killer bunnies attack. I quickly move and Shadow follows me. Aoba steps the same way.

"W-Woah!" I shout as the bunnies try and attack me, "T-Too close!!"

"Stop it!!" I shout, "I don't want to fight!!"

"Fight me, Amaya Tama and Aoba Seragaki."

"How do you know our names?" Aoba asks.

"Rhyme name: Sly Blue."

"Sly... what?"

"Fight me, Sly Blue."

"He won't listen! Amaya, we have to run."

After Aoba decides that, we run, making sure that the bunnies don't catch us.

"Shadow, can you log us out?!"

"I can't! The logout function has been disabled!"

"What kind of Rhyme is this!?"

Aoba and I are separated. Shadow follows me. The rabbits follow me, attempting to hit me.
