**Rachel's POV*

This I know is true. I was having dinner with Aiden and I got a phone call from Steven. Yet, it wasn't him. It was his new girlfriend...what's her name. I don't remember much. Everything became black and I know I must have hit my head. I know for a fact that I'm still unconscious...but I don't know where I am. Slowly I open my eyelids. Light hits my eyes. My eyes widen. Steven looks worried and places a kiss upon my cheek.

"...Steven?" I murmur gently. Steven looks at me and immediately blushes. My brother is overly affectionate...and overly protective. Steven runs his hand through his hair.

"Didn't mean to wake you up. I was just checking up on you. Ha ha." He smirks.

"The last time you kissed me was when were kids, and mom forced you to do it for a picture." I look at him skeptical.

"You were so grossed out that you kicked me. I was hoping to get a reaction from you." Steven and I laugh.

"By the way, what am I doing here?" I stand a little straight on the bed.

"You fainted. The doctor wants to run some test on you. I don't know what happened exactly. I tried asking your friend, but he told me you two were having dinner when it happened." Steven sighed. "Besides, your idiot boyfriend is intoxicated...and worst of all, he couldn't stop saying your name."

"He's not my boyfriend, but he can be an idiot" I say

My heart leaps. Lex...was he thinking about me? I was furious at him that I didn't bother responding to him. No...I shouldn't feel this about a almost married man. But, I can't help it. He thought about me. I stop focusing on the conversation...

"Rachel are you alright? You kinda spaced out." Steven smiles. "I haven't told you the best part about Lex. He caused a scene and three nurses had to get a hold of him. He almost made out with one of the nurses thinking it was you."

"THAT PIG!" I shout a little too loudly. Jealously, what a horrible feeling. Oh, that Lex gets me so angry.

The curtain next to my bed opens. A handsome Hispanic man is reading a book in his bed. He must be a patient. He has caramel skin and raven black hair. His hair is tousled and it looks as if he hasn't shaven in a few days. My mouth opens. My god, he's hot.

"Hola senora, my name is Daniel Del Castillo. I'm trying to enjoy my book. Do you mind lowering your voice a bit." He smiles. My heart skips.

"I-I'm sorry?" Why did I have to answer in a question.

"Rachel, don't you think he was a bit rude?" Steven crosses his arms.

The Hispanic Adonis looks at Steven and gives him a friendly smile. In a sexy Spanish accent he replies, "Lo siento, I'm sorry. But, you two are being a loud. I was quietly reading my book." He points to his book. Steven rolls his eyes.

"You're being quite rude too, amigo." Daniel smirks too. I giggle and Steven looks betrayed.

"Rachel, you're supposed to take my side."

"Quit being a baby Steven, you're embarrassing me in front our guest." Daniel smirks and Steven lets out an exasperated sigh.

Amanda and Aiden are outside of the hospital hallway. Last time I saw Amanda, she nearly screamed at me. This time she looks different. Amanda looks distraught, while Aiden looks cheerful. I can't believe those two are siblings. Daniel rises from his bed and places a kiss upon my wrist.
