*** Next Day ***
"Belle, wake up!" My dad yelled. I rolled over and pulled the blanket over my head. "Princess," he yelled. Soon he got on my bed and jumped up and down. I rolled over and faced my childish father with a grin. "Merry Christmas, sweetie." I hugged him.
"Merry Christmas, daddy." He kissed my head.
"I'll let you get ready for the day and then meet you down in the main room?" I nodded and he smiled again. When he left I got up and picked out my outfit.
After I got ready for the day I went downstairs. My gram and dad were sitting in the kitchen at the table drinking their teas.
"I made one for you, sweetheart." My grandmum said with a smile. I kissed her cheek and thanked her.
"What's on the agenda today?" I asked sitting down.
"Open presents. Duuh!" My dad said rolling his eyes. My gram and I laughed. "After that don't you usually go down to the orphanage and spend some time with them?"
"Yeah." I smiled. "I actually bought so many gifts for all of them that Xavier and Charlie break a sweat carrying them." Everyone including some of the guards laughed.
I heard the clicking of heels getting louder and louder from down the hall. I suppressed a groan and looked at my father. He looked back and smiled at the appearance of my mother.
Don't get me wrong- I love my mothers and dad's relationship. They love each other so much and would do anything for each other. The way my dad looks at my mother with so much love, it's unbelievable that he still loves her so much after all these years. If only she wasn't such a cold hearted bitch towards me.
My father stood up and kissed my mother then spun her in a circle. She laughed at this. I got up and took care of mine and my grandmother's cups.
"Lets go to the tree. Shall we?" She asked. I nodded and she looped my arm through hers. We slowly walked out of the kitchen.
"Isabelle! You and Callum-"
"Not today, honey." My dad said. I smiled and kept walking.
"How's Harry?" Gram asked. I smiled and looked down to my grandmum.
"He's lovely."
"I figured after he stayed the night it'd be lovely."
"Gram. We didn't do anything." I said looking to her. She smiled and nodded.
"I know sweetie. Harry didn't look like he wanted to do that when he ran through the gate with bags and a bird cage." We walked down the hall in silence. As we turned the corner I spoke up.
"Gram?" She turned to me. "Did you ever treat your children like my mum treats me?" We entered the room with the Christmas tree and we sat down on the couch.
"Do you really feel that way?" I nodded.
"She hates me."
"She doesn't hate you." Gram said shaking her head.
"Then why does she yell at me and call me names a-and want me to marry that jerk so bad?" I took a deep breath, realizing I didn't need to over-react to something so stupid.
"She doesn't hate you, honey." Gram said rubbing my back. I leaned my head down on my gram's shoulder. "She just feels the need to keep up with the Queen name. It's just gotten to her head."
My parents entered carrying more gifts. After opening them I realized that I have most of these. I went up to my room and went through my book box and stuffed animals.
