I was speechless. He stared at me for few seconds and then walk away.
"stop!" I shouted
"Mere..I just wanna say...I give up on yo-"
"How dare you! You told me you would never give up on me. You told me you will think through before making decisions as it will hurt me. You said you love me...you promise me..." I said that while tears rolled down my cheeks.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry that you have to cry for someone like me. Maybe it's for the best.." He said with a soft tone.
"Is that the reason why you give up on me? Because it's for the best?!" I shouted back
"No. It's just that..hey..you didn't even put in effort in anything when I did almost everything."
"That doesn't make any sense Dan!"
"I'm sorry" he said that as he walk away.
[Daniel POV]
I'm sorry Mere. I love you...I love you so much that it kills me. But it's just that you don't seem to put in effort.....I've warned you about him and you still do it. I trusted you. You break it. I had enough of this. You've been doing this since last month. I'm sorry that we have to end this way.
[Meredith POV]
