Hey ya'll, it's your WISEGIRL or bae (best author ever!!) I found the perfect picture of what Lizzy should look like. I'll upload pics of what the other girls look like too. I hope u like this chapter 😍
Now Jennifer didn't pick up Elizabeth until 5, two hours after school has ended. Lizzy asked why she couldn't go back to class since she knew Jennifer wasn't coming. When Jennifer did come, she was as mad as a hornet.
She grabbed Lizzie's wrist and dragged her out of the office.
"Now kid..." Kid, that was all she called her, that was her name now "you little worthless, spoiled brat! I was at a shooting for a magazine."
"What? Getting your picture taken?" Lizzy said in a fake pouting voice.
"You watch it," Jennifer said.
"Watch you bring home a man, or look pretty? Wait! Your NOT!!" Burn! Burn! Lizzie thought.
"Kid do you wanna go back to the pound?"
"Pound? It's called a foster agency and the air is sweeter there," Liz replied. Jennifer only growled, she needed the money received from the agency if this modeling didn't work out. "Well then your punishment for snapping at me is no dinner. And to make sure, I'll lock you in your room." She whispered the last part in my ear. I got into her beat up old Sudan and sat in the back, silently. I felt like Cinderella, locked away in her room while he step sisters got all the fun.
When they got home, Jennifer pulled Lizzy up the stairs by her jacket hood and threw her in her room. When she slammed the door, Lizzy could hear the loud clink of the lock. "Better begin homework," she sighed taking out her algebra 2 book. After finishing math she zipped up her backpack. What's the point anymore, she told herself. The glint of joy in her eyes were fading, slowly she leaned back in her chair.
When she herd a loud knock on the door she drew back to reality.
"Liz, open the door," it was Corey.
"What do you want?" She asked, obviously annoyed.
"Open the door and I'll show you," he said. She knew this was a prank, but she had a bit of hope it was food. Walking closer, she opened the door. Worst mistake of her life!! There he stood water gun in hand, shooting her with sink water. His best friend was there to, shooting a nerf gun. Corey and Joe-joe where terrible. Not terrible looking though. Corey had brown hair and joe had blond, they both had brown eyes and where wearing school uniforms.
"You little rats!" she yelled, brown hair soaking, blonde highlights mucky. "I hope you go to hell," she said slamming her door. She slid her back down the wooden door hearing what they said on the other side.
"Your sister is such a buzzkill"
"Yeah, she terrible"
She buried her head into her knees, tears streaming down her face. When she looked up she saw the sunset. What a beautiful night, she thought. That's when she realized, the window was open. Slipping on a pair of athletic shorts and her gray jacket she jumped out the window. Freedom! She walked down the concrete barefoot, hopefully no one saw her, she put her hood over her head. "A place! A place!" She whispered "A place to watch the sunset." Seeing a new house built, she decided the roof might not be far away. Though she was short, she hung out on random peoples roofs all the time, nobody seemed to notice her. Since she had never seen that house before and that it just look built, probably no one was living in it.
Boy, was she wrong. This house was amazing perfect view of the sky.
"Hey!" She herd a voice and it startled her making her fall strait of the roof into the freshly planted rose bushes.
"Ouch! That hurt!" She didn't yell, but she was bleeding. Roses are red, she thought.
"Are you ok!" A boy asked, he was tall and with the street light you could see all his features. Her hood hung low on her face and hopefully he didn't see her. He was tall and looked worried.
"Do you need help?" He asked, she shook her head. He seemed to have blond hair and maybe, if she was wrong had green eyes. She got up and walked away.
"Hey! Wait!" He started chasing her, she ran faster, but he was fast. She cut a curb, and a slight right confusing him and ran a different way. Sadly he caught up to her, but had to stop. She was on the other side of a train track and the train zoomed past. In between the freights he saw her, her hood had fallen and she was under a street lamp.
They stood there staring at each other, but as the freight train disappeared she did as well.
