Luna twitched her ears. She heard things she had never heard before, they all had strange accents. Her paw hurt. Luna whimpered and opened one eye. She opened the other, yelping. She was in a cage.
Luna sat up quickly, and instantly regretted it. Her head banged against the top of the cage, it was way too small. Her fur bristled as she looked around. She was surrounded by hybrids.
She remembered her mother telling her about hybrids when she was only a moon old. Luna whimpered as she realized she was going to be made a hybrid.
Suddenly a door opened. Everyone pushed themselves to the backs of their cages. A human came out of the room and walked along the rows, his fingers trailing against the bars. He stopped at Luna's cage and peered at her. He smiled and grabbed the handle of her cage, carrying her into the room he had come out of.
There was a big metal table with sharp objects on a stand next to it. In a small container was a glowing blue and green... thing. Luna didn't know what it was, and didn't want to know either.
The human set her down on the table and removed the top of her cage. It was the only way out, but it was too high. He positioned a small metal needle inside the cage and stuck it in her skin. Luna gasped and fell to the ground. She slowly fell into darkness once again, wondering what would be waiting for her when she woke up.
Okay, I know that was short, but I had to stop there. I forgot to ask this, but keep or toss? I'm really starting to like this one, but this story isn't for me, it's for you guys. So tell me what you think please! ^_^
