ONCE A MONSTER
I did it because he wouldn't shut up.
Now I'm stuck with him for eternity.
The plan hadn't been to turn him, but I'm new at this. I miscalculated. At the time, my only wish was to stop his ramblings about gigantic walls, or turning the country back sixty years so it could become his own personal dystopia.
He mentioned targeting the children of our enemies and I had to think, who's the enemy here? Me? Them?
Him.
Definitely him.
He's less orange, but otherwise, there isn't much that's different about him now. I simply made his monster status official.
A/N: Thank you to LynnS13, rosaimee, tamoja, and Squeaks7 (hopefully I didn't miss anyone) for tagging me. This is a 100 word flash fiction written for WattVampires Sire's Day Writing Challenge. Check it out on their profile and write your own if you'd like!
I do understand that some readers may disagree with my representation of the fledgling vampire who is the subject of this story. To each their own. In contradiction with my story, I might add that there really are no such things as monsters, only humans who act monstrously. The scariest thing about being human is that we all have the capacity to cause great harm. We don't need to be bitten by a vampire to realize this ability.
I'm to tag 10 people, according to the rules, so here goes. Some of you have probably already been tagged, and actually, I think I'll tag a few extras. Spread the Vampire love!
