Chapter 9: Developing Feelings

NAGISA POV:

-yawns-
"Mrph.. Morning already?" I said

I finally stand up and stretched and went downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Honey! Good morning!" Mother said

"Mhm.. Good morning too you too mother." I said

Mom is always having a good mood in the mornings... But when it comes to afternoons and night.. It goes downhill

"Nagisa..I have a quick question before you leave.." Mother said

"Y-Yes mother? What is it?" I said

Please don't tell me she's going to talk to my teacher into getting me to leave class e, I told mom hundreds times, I like it in Class E and I get to hang out with my friends ... Like Kayano and everyone else..

"Do you have any girlfriends?" Mother said

I got startled from that moment.. G-Girlfriends? What is it with moms bringing up this kinds of stuff!

"N-No mother... I-I don't have a girlfriend.. nor do I ever plan too.. since ... the way I look now... *sniff*" I said

"Oh! That's good! Very good!" Mother said

"W-Wait.. Why is it good! Don't you feel sorry for me!" I said

"I do feel sorry for you... but it's near the end of school .. and .. well.. I decided! I'm signing a arranged marriage for you!" Mother said

D-Did she say arranged marriage!

"Woah! Woah! Mom-Mother! That's too early! What if I have some feelings for someone near the end of school? And who are you assigning marriage to me to be married with!This has to be some kind of joke!" I said

"Oh Nagisa... It's not early .. after all .. you are a very small and smart child to me... You're not going to have any feelings for anyone near end of school because... You're going to marry.... Maru-chan! Ohhh she's such a nice girl! Everytime I see her with you... She's so kind toward you when walking home with you!" Mother said

W-Wait... Maru! No no no no! It can't be Maru! I don't want to be with her!

"M-mother! I don't like Maru! I like her as a friend but nothing more! Please mother don't do this!" I said

O-Oh no I think I got mother bad side awaken...

"WHAT DID YOU SAY! NAGISA! YOU DONT SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN! IM YOUR MOTHER! YOU LISTEN TO WHAT I SAY!" Mother said while banging my head in the table..

"O-Okay mother. I understand" I said while leaving

While walking I can see I have my hair loosen up..

"... I can't believe it... I can't marry Maru... I don't plan to marry anyone at all"

I finally arrive at school and set my school bag in my desk and put my head in the desk

"T-This is the worst day of my life.. or should I say ... worst year ever..." I said

A tap in my shoulder, I turned around and there she .. was.. Kayano... ever since that incident with falling on top of eachother ... I always get nervous around her..

"Hey Nagisa-kun! ... Is everything okay? Kayano said

"O-Oh I-Im fine really, I-Im doing g—

"You have blood dripping from your forehead! Here let me help you!" Kayano said

Kayano placed the wet cloth besides my head and pressing hardly to absorb the blood.

While she was doing that... I felt my head becoming hot.. ... Oh ... no don't tell me I'm blushing!
