The next day was uneventful.

I avoided eye contact with Hollis as much as possible and Harry wasn't at school so I didn't have to worry about ignoring him.

My classes seemed to drone on without end and I found myself looking at the clock much more than usual.

After school, I occupied myself with work in my dad's gallery. I dusted photos, fixed lights, and swept the floor.

My last task of the day was to clean off the front desk. My mind wandered while rubbing the granite. When I was done, I attempted to toss the wipe in the trash under the desk but missed.

Sighing, I bent down to pick it up. I stood up and Louis appeared.

"God you scared me!" I said, my hand flying to my chest.

He chuckled and said "Yeah, Skye told me you'd be here." I saw his eyes go to my chest and I suddenly felt awkward so I nodded and pretended to clean. He cleared his throat.

"So I 'm having a party tonight and I-" He coughs, "Skye was wondering if you wanted to come."

"Um yeah sure. What time?"

"I'll have Skye text you the details" He says as he walks towards the door. He looks me up and down before saying "I hope to see you there."

. . .

I cross my arms at the sight in my mirror. I must've tried on ten outfits already and I haven't been satisfied with any of them. What do you even wear to a high school party? I instinctively open my phone to text Hollis but turn it off immediately when I remember what she said to me.

In the end, I settle on a nirvana t shirt, ripped jeans, and black converse. I quickly curl my hair and throw on some eyeliner and mascara.

"Dad I'm leaving!" I yell.

I'm halfway out the door when Liam grabs my wrist.

"Where are you going?" He questions.

"Just to a friend's house." I assure him. I'm not exactly lying.

"Looking like that?" He motions.

"Yes." I groan. "There might be some sophomore guys there now can I go?"

He sighs. "Text me with updates and call me when you want to be picked up."

I nod and kiss his cheek goodbye.

. . .

I arrive at Louis' house and I almost turn back immediately. High school kids are scattered on the lawn and red cups are in their hands and littering the floor. The kids move to the music that could be heard from blocks away.

I start to wonder if this was a mistake but, after a few deep breaths and a mental pep talk, I walk towards the house.

The inside of the party is just about the same as outside. Only the music is louder.

I frantically search for a familiar face and my eyes settle on Skye.

"Aria!" Skye giggles and stumbles over to me, obviously drunk already.

"Hey." I smile and we walk back to the couch Skye was seated in.

She takes her place in Louis' lap and I turn away. Louis' hands are on her waist and I feel jealousy creeping into me.

"Grab a drink!" Skye slurs and motions to the rep cups.

"No thanks." I decline. "Is there food?" I question, locking eyes with Louis.

"Through that door." He points, his eyes never leaving mine.

I nod and walk away, debating on whether or not to leave. By the end of the night, everyone will be wasted and I'm not sure that's the scene I want to be in as a freshman.

I walk in the room and immediately hear moaning. I search for the source and my eyes settle on Tiffany sitting on the counter with her legs spread.

I turn around to leave but the door has slammed shut behind me and the moaning stopped. I turn back around to see Harry stand up from between her legs, wiping his mouth.

A/N: Hey guys! Sorry this chapter was a bit shorter than my previous ones but I wanted to make sure I updated sooner than usual. Anyway, thanks for reading and please vote for it if you liked it!
