The Kingdom of Telesia was pretty average among its fourteen neighboring Human countries, Nestled together and surrounded by many other races, some friendly, some not so friendly. The Orc countries of the East, their tribes constantly raiding border villages. Even their Grunts could trample the human elite soldiers, and they are as numerous as the sand, luckily for the rest of the world they bicker too much among themselves to put together any real attack. The Elven Cities towering high in the tips of the massive Ferin trees, Keeping mainly to themselves. Their archers are renowned however, rumored to never miss. The Dwarven Halls, Labyrinthine and Glamorous, like the dwarves like it. Their smithing skills are legendary across the land, able to fashion any metal or gem into a work of Art, and War. Their mines deep as the sea, and loaded to bear with precious metals and gems. The west is home to the Beast Tribes, Anthropomorphic Animals, that tends to keep their borders closed, little is known about them.

As such the Human kingdoms banded together to form an Alliance, to protect each other from outside attacks. However they often had disputes and inter-country conflicts and wars.

Telesia was ruled by a Good King, who did his best to keep his country out of these and defend the borders to the best of his ability, however his armor nor his elite guard were up to the task. As the fall of the kingdom came close a group appeared to change the tide. The MystEdge Clan were a mercenary group, however unlike most, their skill and manpower were of a class all its own. As soon as the country's borders where secure, the MystEdge clan set up shop, offering its best mercenaries as trainers to the army. They also began to expand their repertoire, opening different stores. Eleven generations later they held twenty seven different businesses, all of there owners top of their fields. The Leader, Silvan MystEdge, seventeenth clan master, continued to push this progressive development.

However this story begins in a nearby town, with a young man, lying in a bed, in a church.
