"I hope she likes it, Tikki." Marinette said, holding the pink card in front of her.
"I'm sure she will!" Tikki chirped in encouragement.
"And I'm sure she'll like this too!" Tikki said, sitting on the teddy bear with a red heart and black spots. LIKE LADYBUG!
Marinette eagerly nodded and grabbed the teddy hear and ran down the stairs. She came to a halt when she saw her mom in the kitchen. She walked up behind her and wrapped her arms around her eye.
"Guess who?" Marinette sang. Sabine giggled. "My sweet Marinette." She uncovered her eyes and turned around. "Happy Mother's Day, mom!" Marinette exclaimed and handed her her gift.
Sabine gasped. "Aww. Thank you, Honey." She hugged Marinette. They pulled away and Sabine read her card in her mind. Tom than came from behind Sabine. "It's Mother's Day? Can I see the card?" Tom grabbed the card without a reply.
"First things first!" Tom started. "Are you reading this? If no, you must! If yes, yay! ^-^" Tom made a happy fave making his wife and daughter laugh.
"I'd like to say Thank you for everything! And that you're the best! But don't tell dad, or he'll get jelly. ;) STOP READING PAPA!" Tom's eyes widened. "What are you? Some kind of mind reader?!" Sabine and Marinette giggled at Tom's reaction to the card.
