Why do I Exist

Episode Four

*Alex*

I woke up with a start from hearing my brothers Honda. As I got up I heard a scrap of metal against metal. As I approached the door Scott threw it open and threw one of my many wrenches at me. It hit right on my forehead leaving a mark.

"You Son of a Bitch. I told that car takes to much of your time to do your job. Serving me" Scott said in a drunken state.

As he grabbed the top of my hair I tried to get loose.

*Casik*

I jump scared awake because I heard a loud bang. The next thing I heard was Alex's brother.

"You Son of a Bitch. I told you that car takes to much of your time to do your job. Serving me" I heard him say.

I heard Alex yelp in pain knowing he was going to be abused. So I quickly got up and moved to side of the kitchen door waiting for Alex's brother. As he came through I quickly kicked his side and tackled him down. He punched me the head and I headbutt him to knock him out. It didn't work so I picked him up and slammed him against the wall and hook punched him successfully knocking him out.

I stood up I felt Alex wrap around me.

*Alex*

I felt Scott let go as he entered the door way to the living room. As I stood up I heard shouting and a slam against the wall. Then I heard a thud and fearing the worst I ran out and saw Casik standing over my brother. I ran over to him and wrapped around him. He turned around and wrapped me in his arms.

"It's okay Alex. He won't hurt you anymore. Because I'm sending him to jail" Casik said pulling out his phone.

I could hear the sound of ringing from it.

"911 what's your emergency" said an operator.

"This is Officer Casik of the SFPD. I need you to dispatch an ambulance and another officer" Casik said.

"Copy Officer Casik."

Casik then picked me up and carried me outside. It was a cool day for it being in September. As we sat down on the grass I heard the sirens come on to the street. As they stop Casik told me to stay as he went explained the situation. As two officers rushed past me Casik helped me up and took me to the ambulance. We both sat down and let the EMS crew do their job.

"Well, you've got a black eye and a knot on your head. I would recommend you keep ice on that Casik" one EMS crew member said.

"Thanks Eric" Casik said.

I was treated for my bruise but nothing major. As we were finished getting checked out I saw Scott being walked from the house. As they got close to us I asked them to stop. They did and I walked over to them.

"This is for abusing me for four fucking years" I said as I pulled my arm back.

I let my fist fly putting all my hatred towards my brother in it. As it connected with his jaw I saw three teeth fly out of his muzzle. It felt good to finally do that. As the officers drug him away I was lifted up and placed on Casik's shoulders. That was impressive.

I nodded and let down I turned around and kissed Casik.
