Now, most people would assume that the big bad alpha would punish his mate for something like this, but the look on London's face was priceless. She was wide eyed and disgusted.

"How dare you!" She screeched. Arms flailing in the air and vomit going everywhere.

I think this is the moment I fell in love with Nicole.

My mate had tears in her eyes and looked at me. My heart broke in two at her face. She was a dirty mess, but she leaked beauty.

"I'm so sorry." She wiped the back of her hand on her face. She looked from me to London, then to my imposing father walking towards us.

"You miscreant! I'll report you to the council. I'll have the Alpha behead you for such blatant disrespect." She huffed.

My insides went cold. "Watch who you're talking to." I said.

"London! Shut the hell up! That's his mate, he won't behead her." My father said.

She went wide eyed and fell out. I heard the crack when her head hit the ground.

Nicole dropped to her knees and fretted over London's unconscious body. She was crying now, for what I don't know.

I picked her up and cradled her in my arms.

"Shhhhhhh love. She'll be alright. Just call down baby. And please stop crying." I whispered to Nicole.

My father spared London a cursory glance. "Let's get down to business, son. I'm here because a little fox told me you stole some valuable property. I need it back."

I glared at him. "So your the reason this land is infested with those creatures?" My lips peeled back in a snarl.

"Lives are at stake if you don't return the girls. I have mafia's after me and those girls are payment. Keep your mate but give the rest back." He used his alpha voice.

My mate looked wide eyed at me. "No! Y-y-you can't!"

My father took a step forward. "Oh yes honey, he will if he wants to keep you safe." And with that, he was gone with London.
