I was minding my own business walking down the hall when it happened.

Again.

Some girl bumped me on purpose. The same chick that bumped me a few minutes ago.

Me and Isaac were suppose to be leaving in a few minutes but seems like somebody needs to be taught a lesson in manners. Something dark unfurled within me.

She was not gonna get away with it this time. "Chick, hey, you there. You that just bumped me, why?"

She turned around. "My name is Cindy. And I'm guessing you're the runt Alpha has taken for a mate." She looked down at me with disdain. Her blonde hair was in a high pony tail. Blue eyes regaurded me with hatred. Whoah! Who spit in her Wheaties?

I looked around to see who she was talking to.

"I was talking to you, bitch. Just because the future alpha is fucking you doesn't mean that you are anything but a filthy human whore." Cindy growled out at me.

My temper went from bitch what? To bitch I'm about to beat your ass. The dark thing inside me insisted I fight her. Kill her. Intolerance was not accepted. My eyes must have flashed the dark thing's thoughts because Cindy backed up. My nose squenched up at an acrid smell.

Fear.

Cindy's fear of me. Of the dark thing.

But that didn't stop her from her next words. "I issue an official challenge. Since the mating of our Delta, I step in temporarily. Which means my challenge is legit. Now run along and tell Alpha. I wonder what he will wear at your funeral." With that she walked away.

When I got to our room I told Isaac about what happened. He sighed in frustrated anger.

"I thought I prevented this from happening. I told you pack  social positions were stupid. Don't worry about fighting her. I'll handle it." He said.

I growled and it surprised him. "No, I won't let you get in trouble with the council for me. We still have a ball to show up for in a couple hours. I can take her. I know I can." I said determined.

He chuckled and picked me up. "Baby girl, she's a fully grown bitch. Teeth, claws, and stubbornness. You can't win that fight. I'd rather you stay safe while I deal with the punishment from the council." He kissed my forehead.

Later

As I walk to the clearing I'm nervous, but I refuse to back down and let her have my man. Cindy made sure to notify everyone of our duel. The council proceeded to watch and restrain my mate. It took a paralysis drug, 10 silver chains, 15 men and they still barely held him down. He roared from the corner of the arena he was in. My poor mate.

Me and her stand in the middle of the ring and watch each other awaiting the council's signal to begin. We survey each other. I'm only wearing a shredded short skirt and a wrap of fabric over my breasts. She's wearing the same thing but she had her claws out and a silly grin.

"Ready little girl. I'm gonna enjoy gutting you like a fish." She licked her lips and sent a kiss to my heavily restrained mate.

That's when it happened. The dark thing morphed into something wild and dominate. It absorbed all of my being from the inside just as the fight began.

Cindy came at me with her claws. Toying with me. I barely could dodge the quick swipes. Dust was everywhere and I could barely see.

Quick swipes lined my arms and legs. Punches were thrown from every angle. I was on the ground getting kicked.

Then finally, the dark thing took hold. I morphed into a feral wolf.

I crouched low and tackle her by her legs to knock her down. I quickly pin her down and tore chucks from her. Once I had enough of that I stepped back. She turned into a pale wolf. Not even half my size. She leapt at me but my big paw struck her down easily.

I then straddle her and tear the sking from her belly. The damn bitch bit my ear. I movedy attention to her throat and snatched it out. She whimpered and pawed at me but to no avail. I snatched at her throat until her head was no longer attached. I watched emotionless as the bitch died.

I'm still not done with her. I shift back to human but leave myself a claw. I use it to yank the dumb heifers' spine out. I throw it at the council and growl.

"Release my mate. We have a Ball to attend." Everyone was silent. Everyone except a male in the audience. He yelled, "That was totally wicked."
