Kanaya sat on another couch facing the three boys. "Now I'm Sure Sollux Is Quite Confused Of The Current Situation, Eridan." Hearing his name he looked up at her. "Would You Care To Explain?" Those words shook him. A change in the colour of his eyes as he began subconsciously curling in his body, his arms wrapping around himself guarding the precious and insignificant lives inside him. "I...I-I don't think..." Kanaya leaned her head down to try and look him in the eyes. "It's Alright, I'm Sure He'll Understand-" "No...he wwont." Sollux moved over to hold Eridan. "ED, tell me what2 wrong?" Memories sparked as Sollux's fingertips brushed across his shoulder. The faded visions of Sollux's sinister drunken smiles and his fists connecting with Eridan's broken body. The horror of the blood leaking from his arms and nose, the bruises taunting him and the harsh hurtful words being spit out like gasoline to fill the burning inferno.
Until he snapped.
Gaining consciousness he grabbed Sollux by the wrists and smacked him, his rings cut across his cheeks leaving a gash. He stood up before the fear stricken troll who'd abused him.
"I hope that scars so it'll servve as a little reminder that you don't owwn me, that the last time you touched me I almost ripped your pretty little face off..." Looming over him like a predator about to strike. "If you so much as lay one claww on me I'll put you through the same hell you once did to me, only I wwont stop to let you bleed out, I'll keep going until there's not an ounce of that cod awwful swill you call blood still in your body, and once I'm done I wwill bathe in your life escence...do you hear me?!" Sollux nodded, blood and tears streaming down his face as Eridan stormed off slamming a door off its hinges.
At this point Karkat had moved from the couch and was now leaning up against a wall. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO HIM?" Sollux shuddered holding a hand to the gash bleeding his custard blood colour. "What-...II've never 2een hiim act liike that." "That's Because He's Having Grubs." Kanaya stated. "II need hiim to forgiive me." Sollux stood up searching for the rage induced seadweller, finding him curled up sobbing and lying on his bed. "ED...there ii2nt enough '2orry2' iin thii2 uniiver2e to apologiize for what II've done." "Damniit, II don't even liike FF!" Sollux picked him up cradling him close to his chest. "You can kiill me iif you want, god know2 II de2erve iit but II can't help the fact that II'm flu2hed for you." "When you dii2apeared II wa2 on edge and II diidnt know where you were, iit 2cared the hell out me becau2e II thought you were dead and II could bare iit." "II mii22ed you 2o much an for a whiile there II thought I wa2 goiing iin2ane." "II felt 2o guiilty becau2e II hadn't realii2ed how much II needed you...how much II loved you." "II wa2 iin deniial but now II'm afraiid to 2leep at niight becau2e when II wake up you aren't there next to me." Sollux sniffed letting out a shaky breath as he he gripped Eridan tighter. "II want 2o much for thii2 to be a niightmare, and II want you to wake me up becau2e II don't know how much longer II can be apart from you before II giive up." Sollux riddled with blood and tears felt Eridan hug back, and he felt the weight of fear on his chest lift from his being. Both lied down embraced in each other's arms. "I'll be here this time Sol, I'll be here."
Eridan held Sollux's head to his heart. The rhythm of its beats becoming a soothing lullaby lulling him to sleep. Eridan couldn't help himself. This was the affection he'd always wanted from Sollux. And now that he had it, he wasn't letting it go.

Sollux heard a faint voice.
It was soft and whomever it'd been coming from smelt sweet like honey and lavender.
He opened his bi-coloured orbs to see Eridan sitting in front of him, kneeling on the floor. "Morning sleepy bee, howw'd you sleep?" "Hmm, morniing ED." Eridan smiled softly tickling his nose with a kiss as he sat up. "Are you hungry?" "Yup." "Good, Kan made breakfast." "Yay." He whispered as Eridan helped his new matesprit from the bed and walked them into the kitchen holding onto his hand. Guiding him to the table they sat down, Kanaya putting a plate down in front of them. "2trawberry pancake2?" "Mhm!" Eridan nodded scarfing down the food like it was the most deliscious thing he'd ever tasted. "Kan? Could I havve some more strawwberrys please?" Kanaya chuckled. "Why Of Course, You're Eating For More Than One After All." Then Sollux remembered what Kanaya had said the night before. He looked over at Eridan eating the red fruit like candy. His cheeks stuffed with food and a smile on his lips.
"Heh, adorable." Sollux whispered to himself while he ate.
After they all finished eating Eridan was wiping the leftover strawberry on Karkat's mouth like he was his lusus. Kanaya sat back and snickered as Karkat protested. Sollux sat next to her with a bewildered look on his face. "Why ii2 he doiing that?" "During This Time, Eridan Has Devloped Maternal Emotions And It Causes Him To Act Like A Lusus Would, It's A Way Of His Mind Preparing Him For Parenting." "Oh." Eridan smiled as he licked his thumb wiping off the last bit and smearing his saliva on Karkat's cheek. "There, all done ya' fussy wwriggler." "WHAT THE HELL?!" "Wwatch your tounge young man!" "KANAYA,SOLLUX HELP!"
