Kanaya left her trance of horror and shock, her mind begining to process existence. The once white sheets were painted a dark plum, the splotch spreading every second of that precious commodity with the name of time she wasted. The spirit of her face did not alter, worry stayed present as she grabbed a towel next to her. "KANAYA WHATS WRONG?!" Karkat couldn't see anything goin on below from the blankets that covered Eridan's lower half. Kanaya shook her head, almost trying to deny what she saw. "There's Nothing Wrong Karkat, Just Make Sure He's Calm!" She tried to reasure though utterance in her voice left her incapable to convince him. Drying any wet source of blood she could find, Kanaya's hands remained unsteady. Karkat retrieved a rag collecting Eridan's sweat as he panted. "YOU'RE DOING GREAT ERIDAN, SOLLUX WILL BE HERE SOON." Feferi came rushing in. Talk about timing.
Sollux being dragged behind her. Kanaya felt relieved to have more help as she saw Feferi and Sollux out of the corner of her jade eyes. "Good, Sollux, I Need You To Help Me Calm Him Down, Feferi, I'm Going To Need You When He Starts Pushing!"
A shriek of pain from Eridan and Sollux gripped the bed, holding back his instincts to do anything rational. "ED, baby iit2 ok II'm here now ju2t breath, breath wiith me baby." Sollux began to breath in a calming manner in hopes Eridan would mimic.
Just having to hear his matesprit in misery was enough to drive him mad. He just wanted to get this over with. "Kanaya, what2 wrong, why can't he pu2h?" Sollux's voice sounded alarming. "The Eggs Are Having A Bit Of Trouble Sliding Down The Nook Canal, His Bodie Is Too Tense And Weak, He Needs To Relax And Let His Insticts Take Over!" Sollux nodded thinking of what to do.
Feferi walked over taking Eridan's hand in both of her's, grabbing Sollux's hand to intertwine. "-Eridan, you can do this, I know you can!" "Honey, thiink about the grub2, they need you riight now! Theiir our babiie2! Eriidan Ampora..." He said his full name. "You are the 2tronge2t troll II know, 2tronger than EQ! 2O DONT YOU GIIVE UP ON U2!" Eridan smiled. He cared so dearly for his grubs and god as his witness he wasn't going to fail them. Not today, nor any day.
With every heartbeat, breath, and bit of love he had left he vowed to protect the ones that mattered so dearly to him. With a moment of pure bliss, a minute without pain, a single second without a care in the world, Sollux kissed him ever so softly. Cupping his cheek as melted, finally a moment of relaxation. "Good, Good, The Eggs Are Ready, Feferi I'm Going To Need Your Hands." Sollux removed his lips and Feferi left a peck on Eridan's cheek. "B-E strong -Eridan." She spoke softly, leaving to help Kanaya. "Eridan Dear, It's Time To Push."
A grunt and hiss of agrivating, Eridan pushed with all his might. His face contorting of pain turning a slight purple hue, veins in his wrists becoming prominent as he gripped and tore the flesh of Sollux's and Karkat's hands with his claws. Both the boys about to jerk their hand away only the seadweller kept them in place. "Eridan Wait!" Kanaya shrieked as more blood coated her hands. Stopping to breath, Eridan's head lolled back as he huffed, tears begining to fall. "Try To Be Careful Eridan, Now, Start Pushing Again." She commanded. The highblood whined gathering his strength he pushed again. "GAAAH!" Howling in pain, his body forcing so much onto his lower half. He could feel his nook being torn apart by the minute "AGH FUCK!" Karkat cursed. The skin of his hand being ripped by Eridan once again, mutant bright red slid down his arms as well as for Sollux who held in his burning desire to curse to the heavens. "Good, I Can See The First Egg Just Keep Pushing!" "YOU'R-E DOING GR-EAT
-ERIDAN!" Kanaya felt a smile grace her lips as she clasped her fingers around the first egg, it's white shell sliding out of the highblood's irritated nook. "Good Job Dear, One Egg Down..." Kanaya hesitated before finishing. "Four More To Go." She sighed, this was going to be a very long night.
