The somber, light grey sky loomed over Feferi as she strode down the sidewalk. Her surroundings seemed pale from the sour weather, the only proper lighting was the open stores she crossed paths with while she sprinted along the thing concrete road beneath her feet. It was unusually chilly that day. The top of her head concealed by a black beanie and a thick, dark fushia coat covered her shivering curved body. Continuing her stroll she soon arrived at the doors to one of her favorite cafés in the city. An emotion of excitement and slight fear weld deep within her chest as she peeked inside to see Sollux waiting patiently for her arrival. Taking a deep breath, she put her fears aside and head inside with a mind only of 'courage'. Unfortunately, her determination had a funny way helping her out in life seeing as this 'courage' had yet to reveal itself. "Hey FF!" She probably should have thought about this sooner.
She flinched hearing her matesprit's voice, her eyes glistened widening in sudden shock. "O)( )(-)(-EY SOLFIS)(!" Her voice was aquiver as she fumbled her words, clearly caught off gaurd by the Gemini. Feferi strode over to sit in the seat across the small café table from him. They fell still, it seems as the awkward silence had settled in rather quickly. Sollux opened his mouth only to be cut off by Feferi, her voice broke the quiet that surrounded them. "There is something important I need to tell you..." She dropped her quirk as well as her high pitched enthusiastic tone of voice. Her eyes held sorrow as they stared deeply into his. "I have feelings for Aradia..." She paused feeling guilt rise within her as she spoke the next few words with ease, afraid they'd break him. "Flushed feelings." Sollux however seemed unphased by her confession. "II know." Those words made her chest ache with a fierce pain. He knew and yet she accepted his proposal of matespritship, she'd never thought she could stoop so low. "II gue22 you could 2ay we're even though, II've been wiith Eriidan the2e pa2t 2everal month2..." Feferi was surprised. Not that he was with Eridan but because she almost felt like she knew or expected it. "We're haviing grub2 FF, any day now and II'll be re2pon2able for four-maybe fiive liittle grub2, II'll be a dad." Sollux let out a breathy laugh, throwing everything at her and now he was afraid until she grasped his hands and flashed her signature grin. "T)(ATS GR-EAT!" She exclaimed. She meant it as well. She truly felt happy for them, and maybe it was her own growing desire to witness the grubs herself. "I CANT WAIT TO
S-EA T)(-EM SOLLUX!" Sollux felt like the weight of an anvil had been lifted from his chest, and he couldn't help but grin right back at her.
They began to exchange information about the months they spent apart when...Sollux felt the familiar vibration of his phone in his pocket. Feferi took a sip of her tea while Sollux retrieved his phone. Staring at the screen a notification read 'New text message from: Karkat'. Without the slightest bit of hesitation he unlocked his phone and opened his message app. He thought nothing could possibly go wrong with this day. Feferi was happy and supportive of his current situation which was more than enough for him, the last thing he wanted was to leave on her bad side.
But nothing could prepare him for the words typed on the screen...

(I know, I know, I am making the chapters shorter now to hold the suspense-why? Cause imma drama queen and I like to build drama and anticipation it's like my life's purpose or some crap I dunno!
