"Mom! Mom!" Rachel Fireston kept calling. She wanted to tell her mom that she won her science far. She kept calling and walking around the house looking for her mom. Rachel went up to her mom's room. The door was locked. "Mom! Are you in there?!!!" Rachel ran to the bathroom to get the spare key. After she got it, she ran to the door of her mom's room and shoved the key in with trembling hands. She finally got it unlocked, and as she ran to one side of the room, she saw something move out of the corner of her eye, so she slowly walked over to the thick, blood red curtains. She held her breath as she pulled the curtain away from the wall. She screamed. She ran downstairs to call the police. 1 hour later, Rachel was being questioned about the death of Teresa Fireston. The police asked her where her father was. Rachel didn't reply. Her father had left them two years ago. The police were contacting Rachel's aunt Rose who lived an hour away. Rachel couldn't hold her anger in anymore. She screamed letting all her emotions go. The police station went up in flames, but it was like an invisible bubble was protecting everybody in the station. Rachel had unlocked her affinity for the fire element.
