Happy birthday. Chapter 26

We were on our way to the nail salon. Momma told me the last thing im getting done is my hair and makeup. "My baby finna be geeked up" she said pulling up into the nail salon. She made all of  us laugh.

We walked in the nail salon, Dre and Mere had met up and walked to Footlocker. Ma and lana were with me. "Hey baby, you can take a seat right here." The lady said. I sat down in the chair and ma and lana set in the waiting area talking to somebody.

"Do you know what you would like to have or do you wanna look at samples.?" The nail lady asked me. "Umm I already know what i want I want coffin shaped." I said with a smile. "Okay good good good, I'll get started with you in a minute, go pick out your color." She said pointing towards the finger nail polish.

"Yes ma'am." I said getting up. "Oh no no no, I'm probably no older than you. Call me tiny." She said with a smile. I laughed. " okay tiny." I said looking at the colors. Of course I picked out gold, but i also picked out white.

I came and sat back down and she started on my nails. "Soo tell me about yourself...uhmm?" "Erika" i said. "My name Erika." "Okay,Erika tell me how old are you and tell me about yourself." "Welll I'm 17 now, my birthday is today, I have a fiancé." I heard Her gasped. I laughed a little. "Shocking isn't it, i know, well I graduated highschool a year early straight A's with the highest GPA in the whole school."

"But enough about me, tell me about you tiny." I said. "Well first off happy birthday." She said "thank you " I replied. "Anyways im 17 also,birthday was yesterday, graduated this year, moved from japan 5 years ago. I have a bf. 3 years strong. He's black. His name is Derick. I laughed "that's cute. Mmm I didn't even know she was Japanese, she don't even look like it.

"Thank you, go wash your hands for me please." I got up and went to wash my hands, and I finished and came back to sit down. She finished up my nails. "Oh and by the way, im having a party. You and your boyfriend can come, ill tell my mom to send you the address ". I said . "Omg that would be so great, thank you some much what should i wear.?" She asked. "Uhmmm dress like you're going to prom." I said as i paid and got out the chair. "Thank you so much for my nails, i love em." I said as i walked out the shop.

I really was in loved with my nails.😍 We all walked to the car i told ma about tiny and allat. I sent a quick text to Mere and Dre to tell them we waiting for them . A couple minutes they came back and we got in the car and drove to the hair salon.

We arrived and I guess momma knew everybody cause she kept talking and talking as soon as we walked in. "Sooo what would you like E.?" The hair lady asked my ma. "Oh this time its not for me it for my baby, todays her 17th birthday and shes going to prom make her look even more pretty." She said. "Okay you already know i got you baby, come sit down baby come, let me slay you." She said patting her chair. So i did what she said.

A couple hours later she finished my hair and boy let me tell you when i say she slayed me she slayed the fuck outta me. I feel like a new person omg yess. "Soo ummmm wassup boo." I said flipping my hair and popping my gum. They started laughing. "Girl you a fool." My ma said.

I got up out the chair and turned and had to look at myself one more time. Cause goddddd knows i look good. After that i turned to the lady that did my hair and thank you so much. I thought we was finna leave and she was like "hold on lil lady, im not finished yet." "Walk back here with me." She told me.

So I followed her to the back and sat down again. "Now this time im finna beat your face." She said coming to my face. "What the fuck you mean you finna beat my face." I said jumping out the chair finna beat her ass. "Holdddd up holdd uppp." My momma came screaming. "She means shes finna do your make up baby." My mom told me.

"Oooooooooooh." I said sitting down embarrassed. "Im apologize, do yo dang boo.She was like "you straight," then she got to work on my face. 

*20 minutes later.*

My face was gorgeous. Glowing. Magnificent. Everything was beautiful. An all natural conjuring with my makeup. Couldn't even tell i had it on.

Ma was way more excited then i was. She snapping pictures and crying at the same time. I was so shocked cause i never ever seen my mommy cry. I just felt more loved and i was happy. Very happy.

After my ma paid for everything we got in the car and went to go get something to eat or a little snack from Zaxby's. I loveee wings i said biting into one trying not to mess up my make up nore my nails.

Cause god knowsss im clumsy. Mom? I say cleaning my hands , and wiping my face off. "Yes baby.?" She answered "I wanna say that i love you, and thank you for loving me, Thank you for loving me for who i am, i am proud to have you as mother." She looked at me with this wicked smile.

She could tell something was up. "Whats wrong Baby? Are you nervous? It's okay to be nervous." She gets up coming to rub my back. "Its your first time everythings gonna be good, now lets go so we won't be late and i love you too baby forever and always." She says kissing me on the forehead.

I got up following her out the door. I felt a little bit better. I love my family. I love my boyfriend I hope nothing goes wrong.
