Chapter 5

   "Marinette, I love you. And I don't deserve you. You are perfection in my eyes, and in the eyes of many others. And I don't deserve you!" He said, gradually getting louder to a shout. He repeated the last line of his words over and over in a mumbling voice. He looked miserable, and Marinette was in shock. She never knew that someone as wonderful as him could think such things of her. She was a clumsy and foolish girl who knew nothing of love. He was her crush and she now knew she was his too!
   "Adrien, I love you too. You are the most amazing and caring person I know. Don't think poorly of yourself because my feelings were hurt. I know you think your a terrible person right now, but that's not true. Never has been, and it never will be. I forgive you for all the things you think you've done. And I will gladly fight by your side until death. It's you that keeps me going. Don't give up, because I need you." Marinette cried tears of joy, and Adrien looked up at her and he tackled her in a hug so warm and bubbly, Marinette thought she would die of happiness. Adrien whispered into her ear, "I'd like to go to the Winter Formal with you, princess." And Marinette stood up with him, and kissed him. The kiss was warm and soft, like a sweet and tender dream. It tasted like chocolate and neither teen wanted it to come to end, it was rejection at its finest!
