"Marinette?" Alya asked. "Yeah?" Marinette asked in reply, her heart beating a mile a minute. "Are you okay? You've been blushing at that window since I came over...." Alya laughed. "Oh...have I? I didn't notice..." Marinette said, clearly guilty. "Well, if you don't want to tell me that's fine...I'll just add your name back to my Ladybug suspect list..." Alya laughed. "No no no no no!!! I'll tell you eventually, but I need some time to think of the words to say..." Marinette said.
"Okay, girl! Ready to get dressed for the dance? The boys are picking us up at 6:00, I still can't believe you were brave enough to ask Adrien!!" Alya squealed, like a fangirl. "Yeah...shocker..." Marinette said, her secret burning inside her head.
"Marinette?" Adrien called up the staircase, wondering what was taking his lady so long to get ready. She was already beautiful, why did she need make up?! "I'm ready!" Marinette called down the stairs, preparing to see her flawless kitty in his tuxedo. "Woah..." Adrien said as his jaw hit the floor. "What? Is my hair too curly?!" Marinette said, freaking out. "No, Mari. You look...amazing. Better than I could've hoped." Adrien smiled, blushing. "Th-thanks..." Marinette took his hand and walked with him to the limousine.
"May I have this dance?" Nathaniel asked Marinette, while Adrien was away getting drinks. "Um...." Marinette paused, afraid to hurt Nathaniel's feelings. "No, her dance card is full." Adrien muttered, jealousy flaming through his heart and head. "Jeez, sorry Agreste." Nathaniel walked away. The pair danced so beautifully together that every eye in the room was either watching in jealousy or in awe. They were such a perfect couple that no one could compete. At long last, the black cat had won the heart of his miraculous ladybug.
