Three Years Later (Show Based)

Well... Dear Diary,

Funny thing to still say. A lot has happened in these past three years.  A crazy vampire huntress called, "Rayna Cruz", came to Mystic Falls to hunt my friends. We learned the Phoenix Stone is hers and attaches to her sword,  one stab with her sword and you're marked for life. You'll never be able to stop running.  She marked Stefan, he's been running from her ever since. Caroline finally had her twins. Both are girls. Elizabeth and Josie. I think it's sweet naming one after Jo. She meant a lot to us. It sucks she's not here to see them. Damon and I's relationship is still undetermined, I don't know what we are.   And now there's these people who are hunting me. They're called, "The Infirmary". I have no clue what they want with me. Least from Rayna, I know I'm safe. Elena is still "gone". I've been running from The Infirmary for three years now. "I want my life back". Damon has abandoned me to help Stefan. Luckily Enzo's been here. I wished I knew what Alex St.John wanted with me. I cloaked myself using my magic. I found out a member of her family was located in this mental institution, so I decided to check myself in.  For weeks now I've been secretly swapping her pills with sugar pills. Hopefully when the drugs are out of her system she can help. "Group Therapy" isn't really my thing. But the thought of sharing with other people about what I've been through helps.  Enzo kissed me once, I'm not sure why or how we got to that moment, so I don't know how to feel about it.: End Diary Entry.

The girl after Therapy followed me back to my room. She did find out I switched her pills. The weird thing was she actually thanked me and told me how her family betrayed her and she ended up there. I then told her my story about running from Alex. "You're a St.John aren't you?". I said. "Wait how did you know that?". She replied. I then asked if she knew why they were hunting me. "My family likes to hunt things, weapons and sometimes people to". "They don't stop until they get what they want". She added. "I'm a Bennett Witch, Does that mean anything?". I said before she wanted to leave. "They would've tracked you along time go". "How did you manage to get away?". She looked at me. "I found a way to hide from them". "Prove it". The girl said. "I can't right now". "I'll keep your secret if you break me out when you go". "Deal". I replied. I wondered what I just got myself into.

Bonnie then showed the St. John girl her pills. "If I take one of these every day they can't do a locator spell". "The downside is I don't have access to any magic". "How'd the Armory make something like that?". She asked. "You ever hear of a vampire hunter named Rayna Cruz, they used her blood to make the pills I've been taking". Bonnie took one and swallowed it. Bonnie tried again go ask the girl. "Now tell me why The Armory is looking for me". "You also promised to get me out of this place, remember". "Do you have a key or a code or something?". "I have a doctor who can check us both out but not before until you tell me what I need to know". She took a minute before speaking, as if she knew something. "There's a vault in the basement of The Armory, it was sealed by a Bennett Witch a long time ago". "And only a Bennett Witch can unlock it". "They want me to open a vault?". Bonnie replied. "As far as they knew, Lucy Bennett was the only living witch in your line. She disappeared about 4 years ago, I'm not sure why we didn't know about you". "Well I was officially dead for a while, then I wasn't. It's a long story". "What's in the vault?". Bonnie said while listening to her. "Something that can't be let out". The St.John girl replied. Bonnie stared at her. "I need you to be a little more specific". "First, you have to swear you'll never open it". Bonnie could sense fear in her voice. "If this vault is the key to my freedom, I can't promise you anything until I know what's in it". She saw a tear roll down the girl's eye, then she sighed. "I was hoping that you would be on my side". The girl went crazy and started to break the bathroom mirror in Bonnie's room. "What are you doing?". Bonnie asked. "Sorry, I can't let you open the vault". She said as she held a piece of broken glass in her hand and walked towards Bonnie. Bonnie screamed and told her to leave it the glass cut through the sleeve on her shirts shoulder. 
A male nurse heard Bonnie's scream and came to help get the St.John girl out. Bonnie was in shock. The girl kept rambling to the other male nurse. "She's a witch, she keeps trying to break out. You have to stop her".  They gave the girl a sedative to calm her down thank god. The other male nursed left and asked Bonnie if she was okay. She was far from being okay, the girl just stabbed her! "Are you alright, Miss McCullough?". The male nurses asked. "Yeah". Bonnie replied. She had registered under a fake name there so no one would suspect she was in hiding.

While packing up some of her things. Bonnie found a book but something was stuck in it. She pulled it out, it was letter. No return address or anything. It just had her name on it. "Bonnie". The letter read.  She was about to open it when Enzo showed up. "I left a lot of messages with your doctor. Said you had an incident with another patient". Bonnie smiled and hugged him. She then, in that moment they started to kiss. She felt happy. Happy was something Bonnie had felt in a long time. "It's just a scratch darling, but it's all worth it". "Guess who knows why I'm on The Armory's most wanted list". "Virginia St.John". Enzo replied. "It turns out there some kind of vault in that pretentious building, sealed by a Bennett Witch". "Alex St.John wants me to open it". "And now we just have to figure out what's inside". "And the best way to leverage my freedom and after you check me out of this place and take me out for dinner". "I was about to eat another runny piece of beige casserole, I might actually lose my mind". Enzo pulled her close, "What's wrong?". Bonnie asked. "You can't take these anymore. Love". "I got a lead, not all he answers. I still need to stay out of The Armory's radar". "The pills are making you sick". Enzo told her. "What are you talking about?". "I feel fine". Bonnie said and she saw him shake his head. "I didn't know about The Armory experimenting on Mary Louise, they forced these pills down her throat every day for the past three years and as a result she became very ill." "Oh my j thought she blew herself up". Bonnie replied. "It's because she knew she was dying, BonBon I'm so sorry I thought I was protecting you". "I'm gonna die". Bonnie said. "Is that what you're trying to tell me", "Because I've done it once or twice before and it's not all that fun". "I will not let that happen", Enzo said looking into her eyes. "I will not let you die, Bonnie Bennett". "You have my word". He pulled her closer and held her. Bonnie really didn't want to die again. What if this time she can't come back?. She almost didn't make it back last time. 

Then Bonnie heard a voice call her name. She looked up and saw Damon. "Bonnie", he said while holding flowers. She let go of Enzo a little bit still stayed close. Bonnie walked towards Damon. "I'm sorry". Damon Dias to her. "I don't know, I um". "I...". He just stared at her not knowing what to say. Bonnie started to smile but quickly angrily closed the door on him. He abandoned her and now all of a sudden he wants to come back?.
