She hadn't been in Seattle long. ... She was still on Hayley and Klaus's trail. She had heard from an unnamed source that they had passed through here. ... she still couldn't believe the stupid choice Hayley made by following him. ... Yes he's Hope's father but why could she give a damn what happens to him. He treated her horribly when she was pregnant. All she was to him was the knocked up hybrid girl that had his bastard child. ... So to speak anyways.
... It was just another rainy day. The weather was longer this time. The rain kept pouring and the windows would fog. She decided to take a rest and sleep since she couldn't drive in the rain . It wasn't the safest idea anyways.
... She took a breath and fell asleep for what seemed like an hour. She had stopped to sleep in a Hospital Parking Lot 🏥. She figured since there was electricity and free wifi and public restrooms she'd take advantage of it. ... Bonnie was woke up by a knock on her window (the drivers side). A girl had came out to take a breather, she'd guess. ... "Hey, are you alright?". The girl asked. "Yeah I'm fine". Bonnie replied. ... "Are you lost?". The girl asked. Bonnie chuckled for a minute. "No. I just decided to pull in here because of the rain, it's not a safe idea to drive like this out here". She sighed. ... The girl nodded. "Well do you need anything?". She asked. .. "No I'm alright". Bonnie told her. ... She really just needed for her wife go come home to her damn kids and take responsibility for what happened. But Bonnie couldn't tell the girl all this, she didn't need to know her life story. ... "Thanks though". Bonnie smiled. "You're not sleeping in your car, are you?". The girl asked. She seemed nosy, but really sweet and caring and down to earth type of personality. "No. I'm just here because of the rain". Bonnie reassured her again. "But thanks for asking...". Her voice trailed off. "Meredith". The girl told her. "My name is Meredith Grey". ... "It's nice to meet you, Meredith".
Bonnie replied. "I'm Bonnie, Bonnie Bennett".... "So what brings you out here?". Meredith asked. "It doesn't look like you're from Seattle". She laughed. "I'm not nosy or anything, but most people would just wait out the rain inside the hospital". She smiled. "I'm a Doctor here". Meredith replied. "General Surgeon, actually". ... "Wow, that's amazing Meredith". Bonnie replied. "No I'm actually from.. Virginia". She lied. Well technically she was. But nothing about where she was from was normal, not even her little quaint now where everyone knows everyone. .., People die, that's a fact. "Wow, Virginia". Meredith said. "That's a bit far off". (I actually have no clue if it is or not but I'm going with it).
"Yeah I was looking for a friend". Bonnie lied. Well technically the friend was her wife, but Meredith didn't need to know that. "She came through a few weeks ago". Bonnie sighed. "Is everything alright?". Meredith asked. "Between you and her?". ... "It's complicated, Meredith". Bonnie sighed. "Believe me, I know complicated". Meredith laughed. ... "Why don't you come inside and wait out the rain". She smiled. "We could get some coffee". ... At first Bonnie wanted to reject her kind offer. She wasn't here to make friends, she was here to find Hayley and bring her home or die trying. Hayley meant the world to her and her two kids. ... But then again, Meredith seemed awfully kind to her for someone she just met. "Sure". Bonnie smiled and grabbed her purse and got out of the car and walked with Meredith under her umbrella inside the Hospital. ... "Grey-Sloan Memorial". The Hospital Entrance Door read. ..
... "Thanks for the coffee, Meredith". Bonnie smiled. "Anytime, Bonnie". Meredith smiled more, "My treat". She said and payed for the coffee and bought herself one as well. They walked around for a couple of minutes talking. "So tell me about your friend?". She asked. "If it's alright, I ask". "She was my wife". Bonnie replied. "Oh... you're married?".
Meredith asked. "Yeah, we are. Well were". "Like I said, Meredith. It's complicated". ... "I'm sorry to hear, Bonnie. I know how it is. I lost my husband this past year". She sighed. "It's been hard on me and the kids, we have three kids". Meredith smiled and took out her phone. "Zola, Bailey, and Ellis". She said, pointing to the kids in the picture."They're beautiful, Meredith". .. Bonnie smiled and took out her phone. "We have two together and she has a previous daughter from a complicated relationship a while back as well. Here's our two". Bonnie said. "Apple, our daughter, and Jax, our son". She smiled. ... Meredith figured they adopted or something. No... they had them normally, well of course with a bit of MAGICAL help and all. ... This world here seemed so normal. ... "And this is Hayley". Bonnie smiled and showed Meredith the picture of them on the lock screen of her phone". "She's beautiful, Bonnie". "I know". Bonnie smiled. "I love her, Meredith". ... "It's been a while since we've talked and I miss her, I just want to find her and bring her back". "I know how you feel".
Meredith replied. "I would do anything to bring Derek back, that was my husband. ... Derek Shepherd". ... Bonnie wished she could give Meredith some reassurance that Derek was in a Better Place, but The Other Side is gone. And she didn't know that for sure. She knew she could tell Meredith that she could contact Derek and give her a chance to see her husband". But that wouldn't go over well and she'd probably think she was crazy and needed to be locked up in some type of psychological place.... "Incoming". A Paramedic yelled. "We've got a injured". He said. "Okay what do we got?". A red-headed girl replied. "GSW to the chest, and airway is breached, he was criked in the field. B.P was steady and Pulse was too. But then it started to drop and he Coded twice. We pushed two of Epi". He continued. "Alright, Open OR Two and Grey, go Scrub in and Page Neuro, right pupil is blown". She sighed and went to go get the patient into the elevator. ... "Sorry, Bonnie. I've got to go". "Can we continue after?". She asked. Bonnie nodded. "Yeah I'll be here". Bonnie smiled. She wished she could tell the people she could use her magic and he'd be fine in seconds, but she couldn't. They were Doctors, they did this for a living, they had Science on their side. They didn't believe in Magic.
... About five hours later Meredith came out of Surgery and went to inform the patients family. "... We did everything we could, but he's gone, I'm so sorry for your loss". She sighed and hugged the crying wife. ... Bonnie knew she could've saved that guy. ... maybe there's something here for her. Maybe there's something she's missing. Maybe it's a key to finding Hayley, to finding peace. ... "Meredith, wait". Bonnie ran to catch up with her. "I'm sorry to hear that guy didn't make it". She told her. "Me too, Bonnie, me too". "Hey, if you want we can grab drinks at Joe's after". She smiled. "Joe's?". Bonnie asked. "It's a bar". Meredith laughed. "First night in Seattle". Meredith laughed. "It's a tradition". .. Bonnie laughed. "Alright, meet me out here when you're done". She smiled. ... Maybe she wouldn't tell her tonight she was a witch. But someday soon. Who knows what's there for her?. Is it a key to finding Hayley?. Is it a key to finally finding peace for herself and her kids?. ...(Season 12 Based).
