I wanted to dedicate this to DaikiraiBaka because she is probably the sweetest person I've ever met and she encouraged me to continue this novel, which I was thinking about deleting. Thank you for being a friend and my inspiration. :] <3

“I’m so used to being a coward,” Kaden whispered, “But I really want to change. I just really want to be happy again.”

Andrew knew that Kaden wouldn’t tell him what’s been going on in his head and his life at this exact moment, and he didn’t want to push him to tell either. But he knew – he just knew – that one day – some day – Kaden would trust him enough to speak the truth behind his well-manicured masks.

Andrew couldn’t seem to tear his gaze away from Kaden as the younger boy spoke about everything and nothing all at once. The way his jet-black fringe fell softly over his icy blue eyes, casting a dark shadow over his face, made him look troubled and untouchable. The thin, crackled scar that ran across his right eye seemed to lure Andrew in even more with curiosity. It was oddly attractive.

Andrew watched Kaden’s lips curiously. They looked so small, yet so full all at the same time. They were a light pinkish color, and Andrew noticed how they turned a light shade of red in the cold. His skin was a pale white, lighter than fresh snow, and his cheeks were stained with soft pink color that, like his lips, would turn beet red in the cold or when he would blush.

Slightly startled from the warm feeling that burned in his stomach, Andrew pushed all thoughts of Kaden aside. But then he remembered the boy was right there in his bedroom, on his bed, sitting only a few inches away. Fucking Christ, he thought, his breathing becoming heavier.

Kaden took notice in Andrew’s odd behavior. Tilting his head in confusion, Kaden spoke softly, his voice laced with concern, “Andrew? Are you feeling alright?”

To Andrew’s misfortune, he almost came in his pants at the incredibly adorable gesture. “Yeah,” he choked out, adjusting him self on the bed. Kaden stared at him curiously, but just smiled nonetheless. Sighing happily, Kaden laid back on the bed, giggling softly. “What’s so funny?” Andrew asked, immediately taking notice in the way Kaden’s t-shirt rode up, revealing ghostly white skin. Kaden felt his cheeks tinge pink as he watched Andrew’s eyes graze over his body. A soft groan emerged from Andrew’s throat, causing Kaden to whimper slightly.

Andrew’s lips cracked into an evil grin, and turned away from Kaden. As if someone sped up time, Andrew was on top of Kaden, his fingers wiggling all over his body, causing Kaden to burst out into hysterics. Andrew laughed along, loving the bright smile and musical laughter that radiated off of Kaden. He’s so beautiful, Andrew thought to his self.
