So sorry I haven't updated, I've been busy with school crap. I will try to find a schedule as the school year goes along. Anyways, this chapter is Jacob and Samantha feels. Also Samantha and her cousin feels. You will learn a lot more about her family back in Tacoma in the next chapter.

Picture on the side is jaw-dropping Emmie.

♥Samantha♥

“Are you sure about this Jacob”? I questioned him hesitantly, staring up at the huge cemetery gate. The black iron metal stood tall, towering over us. Jacob’s grip on my hand tightened, as he looked down at me smiling. “I’m okay baby, don’t worry”.

My cheeks started to heat up at the fact that Jacob called me baby. Opening the front gate, we walked down the gravel pathway in a comfortable silence. My eyes surveyed the myriads of tombstones, as Jacob led me the way to where his mom was buried. I was a stranger to cemeteries, seeming as the people in my family who passed away, including my mom, wanted to be cremated and not buried.

Jacob stopped in his tracks as we arrived at his mom’s tombstone. It was squared shaped, made from beautiful grey granite. Scrolls were inscribed along the corners. I read over the engraved words on the tombstone.

In loving memory of Sarah Black

Sunrise: Feb. 11th 1960  Sunset: Dec. 1st 1999

Beloved mother, daughter, wife, painter, and friend

Gone but never forgotten

May her kind soul rest in peace

Yellow roses surrounded the tombstone. Jacob chuckled slightly, and placed a single yellow rose against the stone. “Her favorite flower was yellow roses so dad always makes sure her tombstone have yellow roses”. Jacob’s voice had a slight somber tone, and it made feel mournful for him.

Jacob sat on the grass, pulling me onto his lap. “Mom, I want you to meet my beautiful girlfriend and imprint, Samantha Velez”. Jacob spoke proudly, kissing my cheek. Giggling at Jacob’s action, I smiled over at the grave. “Hi there Mrs. Black”.

“Thanks for coming with me. I thought that you would have been weirded out”. Jacob admitted sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. We were walking back from the grave hand in hand, after a long nice conversation with Sarah. Jacob mostly talked about what has happened this past month and a half; including my arrival here, Kim’s pregnancy, how Billy is doing, and my reaction when I found out that the legends were true.

Jacob told me the reason that the pack decided to tell me the truth about the legends, and not the other imprints like Kim or Rosie, was because they knew I was strong enough to handle it. It honestly made me so happy that the pack thought that. When they told me, I thought they were joking around so I didn’t believe them. Until we went outside, Embry and Jacob had phased, showing me that they actually do transform into huge horse size wolves.

At first, I was in complete shock, and then terror kicked in. The pack was right though, I could handle it. I was strong enough to accept it, even though I was a bit hesitate to be around them for a couple of days, and really couldn’t make eye contact with anyone. I got over it when I realized that they care about me and wouldn’t hurt me.

When Jacob told me he imprinted on me and asked me to be his girlfriend, my heart swelled with joy. Of course I said yes, and then he went into all the details about imprinting and being a werewolf.

“I wouldn’t be weirded out over that Jacob”. I shook my head, smiling a little. “We’re gonna meet my mom one day together”. I promised him, getting into his Rabbit. Jacob grinned and nodded, agreeing with me. We drove back to my house in another comfortable silence, making some small talk.

I perked up when Jacob parked behind Paul’s truck in the driveway. Instead of the space next to Paul’s truck being empty-since Mr. Lahote usually was never home- there was a familiar black Chevy Camaro parked. It was my mom’s old car, the one I shared with her back in Tacoma.

My mind came into realization that Emmie was here once I remembered that she promised she would drive down and bring it to me. I started squealing, and rushed out to the house, leaving a confused Jacob behind.

Bargaining through the open door, I spotted Emmie sprawled on the couch, an Xbox control in her hands with a determined look on her face. Strands of her black hair fell on her face, and she tried to blow them away. She tore her brown eyes away from the screen, and glanced over at me. Emmie broke into a huge smile, dropping the control and rushing over to me.

We engulfed each other in a hug, screaming each other’s name. Emmie pulled back, looking at me with tears in her eyes. “Oh how I’ve I missed you Samantha”.

A lump started to form in my throat. “Emmie don’t you dare cry, I’ll start crying then”. I could feel tears burning in the back of my eyes. Emmie chuckled softy, “I can’t help it, there happy tears”.

“You interrupted the game”. Paul groaned, ignoring our sweet reunion. “I was gonna beat your ass anyways so it’s okay”. Emmie smirked as she turned slightly towards Paul. I laughed while Paul grumbled, crossing his arms.

Jacob had walked inside, a confused look still on his adorable face. Emmie scowled, and made her way over to him. “Who the hell are you”?

“Emmie, it’s just Jacob”. I scolded her, making my way over to them. Emmie’s face softened, and she gave a smirk. “So you’re the one that Samantha always talks about. Well it’s nice to finally meet you.”

I gave Emmie a death glare while my cheeks heated up for the second time that day. Jacob snickered at my reaction, and gave Emmie a polite nod. “Samantha talks about you sometimes too, all the crazy things you’ve done together”.

“Jesus, there’s way too many”, Emmie shook her head, smiling over at me. “You know, I’m still here”. Paul called out from the couch. We all made our way to the couch, Emmie back at her spot next to Paul. Jacob sat next to her, while I made myself comfortable on his lap.

Emmie gagged, and I glared at her again. Smiling sweetly at me, she switched her attention back to Paul. demanded that he stop playing Call of Duty. While they bickered, and Jacob was lost playing with my hair, I took this time to examine Emmie.

Emmie looked the same since the day I left Tacoma, absolutely beautiful. Her thick black hair was still long, as Emmie always refused to cut it short. She got another tattoo, this time a black cross on her wrist. Emmie bit down on her full bottom lip, trying not to laugh at Paul getting mad over the fact that someone had killed him in Call of Duty.

Emmie was stunning, and it made me so jealous over her looks. I’ve never been one to completely hate how I look, but when I’m around Emmie, my confidence always went down. Emmie’s looks combined with her fiery, fierce personality made guys drool over her.

“What’s wrong”? Jacob whispered into my ear, sending chills down my spine. “Nothing”, I looked into his eyes, smiling. Giving him a quick kiss to reassure him, I turned my attention back to Emmie, who was busy playing Xbox with Paul again. “Emmie did you come just to bring the car”?

“Also to spend some time with you, mom wanted me to”. Emmie answered back, her eyes glued to the screen. I smiled at the thought of my tía, who had the same personality and looks as Emmie. “The guys are coming over like right now, to go cliff diving. So she can come.” Paul informed us, not taking his eyes off the screen either.

“What in the hell is cliff diving?”

Paul smirked, “the best thing to do around here”. Before I could say anything else there was a knock on the door. I smiled at the thought of the day that we all have ahead of us.
