“Samantha"? I heard Paul call from inside the house.

“Outside" I called back. I was in the back porch, sitting on the porch swing. This was becoming my favorite spot in the house. I could come here, and be able to clear my mind. I was thinking about last night. What happened with my new friend, Jacob? I'd never seen a boy cry, not even at funerals. But Jacob was different, he didn't hide his emotions. I felt bad for him. I have never been heartbroken, so I wouldn't know how feels. But the condition he was in, it must be horrible.

I was developing a crush for Jacob. I mean, who wouldn't? He is drop dead gorgeous. His inky black hair and smooth russet skin. His husky voice that gives me goose bumps. An amazing body. But the thing that stood out was his chocolate brown eyes. I just met him yesterday, and I feel a connection with him. But I have to forget about the crush. He wasn't ready for a relationship, he was probably still in love with that Bella girl.

“Hey baby sis" Paul greeted him. He leaned against the French door.

“Hey big brother...whoa I have to get use to saying that". I teased.

“Ha ha, how did you sleep"?

“Pretty good, it’s very quiet."

“La Push is really quiet". He eyed my outfit. “Why are you wearing that"? He asked sternly.

I frowned. I had on some gray sweatpants, with a purple sport bra. And some purple Nike shoes." What’s wrong with it".

He crossed his arms. “Don’t you think it's a little too revealing", he said with an overprotective tone.

I rolled my eyes. “I always wear a sport bra when I go jogging. Which I'm about to do right now".
