Him.
The boy who I always dreamed of. I think I saw him, where I worked. At Dowey's Ice Cream Parlor.
He was at the pathway, his tall figure so noticeable.
I never thought I'd see him again. Even though I hoped that I'll see him again. And I was happy that my wish came true. And even though I was still on duty, even though there were so many people in the shop because of this very hot day. Even though Rin, my co-worker was having a hard time on fixing the milk shake blender.
I just needed to chase him. The boy whom I always dreamed of.
And so I did.
I ran out the door, throwing my apron on the floor. Ignoring the startled shouts of Rin and Mr. Lincon my boss. They were telling me to come back. I didn't want to.
Not when I just found him.
I ran, fast. Not losing sight of him.
I ran until my breath was heaving.
I ran until my thighs were aching.
He was still at least 7 meters away from me.
"Alex!"
He didn't look at me. Maybe he didn't hear me.
"Alex"
He still didn't, and I found out why.
