Walking towards a familiar door, I prepare myself for the worst. Although, I did enjoy what had come out of yesterdays encounter, I did something unforgivable to a fragile girl. But my wolf couldn't take it.

I smelled her arousal, the sweet scent of flowers grew stronger and stronger, and my wolf howled for her. Her grey eyes stared at me behind her thick lashes, urging me to do something to her. As I took in her appearance; her fair skin just waited to be touch, and her beautiful face looked at me as if I were something completely incomprehensible. At that moment I just wanted to claim her and make her mine. And when she finally set off my wolf, I could not hold myself back anymore. I expected her to struggle, to wriggle out of my grasp but then she let out a moan and my body got excited.

She felt the mate bond too.

This thought caused me to smirk and I plunged deeper into the kiss, exploring her body. I growled at the thin fabricate that hindered me from seeing more, so I ripped it off her. She stood there with her cheeks red and her blonde hair a mess. And I took in her appearance, her tiny waist and toned stomach, and her breasts just waiting to be freed from the black bra that caged them. She drove me crazy. But I needed to stop, a part of me felt like this wasn't right. I was taking advantage of a girl who had no control over the mate bond.

"Next time you step out of line, be prepared to be punished, pup." I whispered, exiting her room so that I could calm my horny wolf down.

I shake my head, trying to stop reliving that memory for it was making me way too excited. My wolf howls and I block him out and attempt to open her door—only to find it locked. I don't remember ever putting locks in her door.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" I hear her shout from the other side.

"Unlock this door!" I demand, wriggling the doorknob. The door seemed to have been blocked by something big, I could easily knock it down but I didn't want to risk hurting her in the process. "Please unlock the door."

"GO AWAY!"

I grow frustrated and my wolf decides to speak up. She just needs a bit more time to herself. We should give her space. He had a point, she must have been trying to process all the new found knowledge thats been given to her. She needed some more time to think it over. I let out a sigh and decide to walk away from her door, giving her the privacy she asked for.

"You shouldn't be doing that to our mate." A voice suddenly says and I scream trying to look around my room to find the owner of the voice. "I'm inside of you. Do not be afraid."

I start panicking, was I going crazy? Am I really hearing voices?

"I am your wolf. I have been sealed inside you all this time." The voice replies. My hands start to shake in fear, this was what they were talking about. This was what Sebastian was trying to prevent. "Sebastian was trying to kill us."

My hands clench. "He was trying to kill you because you are a monster." I shout, my eyes starting to water. How could this beast reside in me?

"I am a part of you, if he were to kill me... He'd have to kill you too." Her words echo inside my head, causing my hands to fall limp. So it was true, he really was trying to kill me. "Are wolves that horrible that they should be killed?" I ask her.

"Not all wolves. Some wolves are there to protect the humans from other supernatural beings. We leave peacefully among the humans, making sure that the reality between both worlds never collide."

I look down at my hands and they somehow have managed to stop shaking. The fear inside me disappears and I'm calm. "What did you do to me?"

"I lent you my strength. For he has kept you in that mansion and made you weak and fragile. But that won't happen again, for I am here with you now."

My hand hovers over my heart. If she were really a part of me... Then maybe I can trust her. I had nowhere else to turn and she was all I had left. "Am I safe here?" I whisper, looking around the extravagantly decorated room.

She lets out a howl. "This is the safest place for us. For we are in the protection of our mate." She replies.

My mind grows confused at the word. It was one I have not heard of before. "Mate? What is that?"

"Our mate is our other half. We are put on this earth by the moon goddess with red strings of fate tying two souls together. We are given this unbreakable bond that binds us to each other."

I start processing what she says and finally manage to piece things together. I let out a gasp and my hand goes to cover my mouth in disbelief. "Cole is our mate?" I ask, my voice barely above a whisper.

"He is. We are safe with him here." she replies, calmly.

And just like that, my reality started to shift with that very thought.
