Come Back in Five Years....

5: Red Death, pt 1

Hiccup's Point of View.

It's been a week since Toothless and I met Stormcloud, she's grown a fond liking to us and I think she's amazing, she's amazing at fighting and to make sure no one sneaks up on you, so she has taken over on my fighting and strength training, whilst Toothless takes stealth, speed and helping me improve my senses. 

Two days ago they told me about the red death queen, she's the one who is control for Berk always getting raided and I was thinking about trying to take her down, of course I would need a plan and Stormcloud and Toothless to explain anything they know about her appearance or how she acts so I could form a plan that would be perfect. Stormcloud was one of the dragons that were the red death's main food scavenger since she could fight so well, but apparently Stormcloud escaped the clutches of the red death's claws about a few weeks before Toothless and I found her. 

My plan was nearly complete for taking her down but I just needed to make sure Stormcloud was alright to come attack her with me, she had agreed immediately but I was a little hesitant to take her with us. I was planning on attacking a week from now, hoping it was a good time and my plan will be fool proof.

(One week later.) 

Toothless, Stormcloud and I have been flying for about an hour, Stormcloud in front of Toothless and I. Since she had been a slave for the Red Death longer than Toothless I trusted her to take us to the Red Death's mountain, Toothless was nervous but had confidence that my plan would work.

About half an hour later we arrived at a large volcano like mountain, black pebbles adorning the beach area and I could tell that Stormcloud was getting a little nervous, "It's alright Stormcloud, everything will work out." I said calmly, she looked over at me and nodded her scaly head before flying forwards, Toothless and I followed suit, Toothless than blasted a multiple plasma blasts at the mountain's wall, before it broke through, the ruble falling to the pebbly ground, Stormcloud than blasted a magnesium flam through the centre of the hole we created making the dragons inside fly out from fear, flying into the sky some yelling "Thank you's!" As they passed Stormcloud and Toothless. 

Stormcloud came back over to Toothless and I, hovering beside us. Suddenly there was a loud screech and a huge dragon nearly the size of the mountain itself came through the hole in the side of it, crashing through the rest of the hole that was too small, I covered my ears when she screeched, "TRAITORS!!!!" Before firing her burning hot fire at us, Stormcloud and Toothless quickly separated avoiding the fire whilst I studied the dragon in front of me. She was a washed out light blue colour, red spikes adorning her body in various placed like her neck, shoulders, elbows, stomach, hind legs and the bass of her tail. Her tail ended in a round ball of scales with spikes all around it, her claws were large and sharp, her head was large and her mouth was huge, large enough to house at least three monstrous nightmares, her teeth were sharp and the bottom row were jutting out and when she closed her mouth they overlapped the top of her mouth. she had six eyes, four closed and two open.

Just by looking at her I could tell she relied on smell and sound, her tail was made for bashing and crushing and she had a heavy armoured skull. I quickly went through the plan through my head before making Toothless dive towards the Red Death, Toothless fired plasma blasts at her head making her screech out and fall to the side, I sighed before making Toothless circle back flying away, I looked back and saw her standing back up and opening her large wings and getting ready to take off, "Stay here!" I yelled to Stormcloud, I saw her stay hovering and I made Toothless fly at top speed. the Red Death flying behind, Toothless and I flew through sea stacks while the Red Death crashes through them. I smirked while clicking Toothless tail fine into the high soaring position before Toothless flew almost straight up, we flew into the dark clouds,disappearing from sight of the Red death, she hovered flapping her large wings while Toothless flew around her and fired a plasma blast at her, she turned around quickly while Toothless went behind her and fired another plasma blast, she turned around again and Toothless fired right at her face, she screeched loudly "STOP THIS NOW!!" before she fired a stream of fire whilst turning around in a circle, "Watch out Toothless!" I yelled, Toothless tired to swerve out of the way but the fire clipped his fake tail fin and it caught alight, I groaned. "C'mon Toothless, it's now or never." I said, Toothless screeched as he dived past the Red Death's head, she saw us and tried to snap us up with her mouth but we quickly dodged, we continued diving down past the clouds. Toothless continued diving and I quickly looked behind me to see the Red Death right on our tail, I breathed out lightly before listening to the unmistakable loud long intake of breath from the Red Death. "NOW!!!" I yelled, Toothless flipped over so he was falling with his back to the ground and quickly shot a plasma blast into the Red Death's mouth, her eyes widened as the fire light her insides.

Toothless flipped over again and tried to fly through the explosion but since the Red Death had collided with the ground head first her tail swung towards us, "Watch out!" I yelled, Toothless tried to swerve to the left but I noticed that the fake tail fin had burnt off, leaving me with no control and Toothless to not be able to fly. I screamed in horror as the Red Death's tail smashed into Toothless and I, knocking me off Toothless' tail sending me flying towards the fiery explosion underneath, I saw Toothless urgently flapping his wings trying to reach me before I was sucked up into the explosion before I blacked out. 

(A;N Sorry it took me a while to get this chapter out, I've been a little stressed with school, studying for exams and tests.
