We tested the chief, we found no evidence on whether he killed Pam and my husband. I showed the doc the info, "he isn't the killer!" He laughed, "you have to slow down! Don't be so worried!"
I scoffed. "No, this killer is out there and we don't know who is next!" He sighed and dropped his knife. "Amber, relax! It will be harder to do anything if you are in this condition okay?"
I went back to my office---day after day---nothing comes together....

Well I can't type it all out here so I will tell you what happens. The killer of Danny and Pam is the doc, the chief and amber go to help rescue Maddie and James from the doc since he kidnapped them, the chief dies and so does Maddie. James and Amber move far away and start over. She isn't a cop anymore and pole dances. She meets another man after 4 years and gets pregnant, James dies of depression and Amber dies as well, because she had kidney failure. As for Pams family, they all died before they found the murderer.
