Chapter 6) Meet Baymax

"So,what have you been working on?" I asked as we walked in Tadashi's lab.
"I'll show you." Tadashi said,grabbing some Duct tape.
"Duct tape?" I sighed,as Tadashi ripped a piece off. "Hate to break it to you bro,already been invented."
Tadashi stuck the tape on my arm and pulled it off quickly,making me jump back in pain.
"Oooww! Dude! Ow!"
Just then a giant robot inflated. It looked like giant walking pillow.
"This... Is what I've been working on." Tadaahi said,gesturing to the robot.
The robot started walking towards me but stopped when it hit a stool. It looked at the stool,picked it up,looked around and set it beside him. The robot walked up to me.
He waved his hand in a circular motion.
"Hello. I am Baymax. Your personal healthcare companion. I was alerted to the need of medical attention when you said 'ow.'" The robot said. Tadashi mouthed 'Ow'.
"A robotic... nurse?" I asked.
"On a scale of one ten,how would you rate your pain?" Baymax said,a chart thing appearing on his chest.
"Physical,or emotional?" I asked,glaring at Tadashi. He made a sad face.
"I will scan you now." Baymax said. He looked me up and down.
"Scan complete." A body appeared on Baymax's chest.
"You have a slight epidermal abrasion on your fore arm. I suggest using an anti-bacterial spray." He said,trying to hold my arm.
"Woah woah woah. What's in the spray specifically?" I asked,pulling my arm away.
"The primary ingrediant is bacitracin." Baymax said.
"It's a bummer. I'm actually allergic to that." I smirked at the robot.
"You are not allergic to bacitracin. You do have a mild allergy to," Baymax pointed towards the ceiling matter-of-factly.
"Peanuts." He finished.
"Not bad." I said,letting him spray my arm.
"You've done some serious coding on this thing,huh?" I asked Tadashi.
"Uh huh. Programed him with over 10,000 medical procedures." Tadashi said,hitting something on Baymax's upper chest. A green chip with a drawn doctor and 'Tadashi Hamada' written on it.
"This chip is what makes Baymax,Baymax." Tadashi said,smiling.
I pushed it back in and walked to the back of Baymax. I poked his back.
"Vinal?" I asked,glancing at Tadashi.
"Yeah. I'm going for the non-threatening,huggable,kinda thing." Tadashi said.
I walked back to in front of Baymax.
"Looks like a walking marshmallow. No offense." I said,looking over Baymax's shoulder at Tadashi.
"I am a robot. I can not be offended." Baymax said.
"Hyperspectral cameras?" I asked,looking real close in Baymax's 'eyes'. I tapped them.
"Yep!" Tadashi answered. I stepped back.
I then stuffed my face in Baymax's belly,and saw a metal skeleton.
"Titanium skeleton." I said.
"Carbon fiber." Tadashk corrected me.
"Right,even lighter!" I stuffed my face in more.
"Killer actuators! Where did you get those?" I asked.
"Oh,ya know,machined 'em right here,in house." Tadashi said.
"Really?" I asked,looking at Tadashi,then back ay Baymax. "Yup!" Tadashi smiled. "He can lift 1000 pounds."
"Shut up." I said,looking Baymax over again.
"You have been a good boy. Have a lollipop." Baymax said,handing me a red lollipop.
"Nice!" I said,taking it and unwrapping it. I stuffed it in my mouth.
"I can not deactivate until you say you are satisfied with your care." Baymax said.
"Alright then,I am satisfied with my care." I smiled,putting the lollipop back in my mouth.
"He's gonna help a lot of people." Tadashi said,as we watched Baymax go back to his charging station and deflate back into it.
I sure hoped so,cause this robot was awesome.
