~Cassie's POV~My boyfriend wasn't feeling good today so I figured I'd come make him feel better. I had a canister of soup in my bag and a bunch of crackers. I walked up the steps and opened the door, simply walking inside. There was noises coming from upstairs, figuring it was the TV in his room, I walked into the kitchen and put the soup and crackers on the counter in the kitchen before moving back towards the stairs. He's probably asleep. I'll wake him up and he'll be so happy to see me. I know he will. I grinned to myself as I opened the door to his bedroom. My eyes instantly widened in shock from what was before me. My boyfriend, the one who claimed to be sick was sitting there and making out with his ex. I covered my mouth, forcing myself not to gag at the sight. I must've made a noise because Cameron ripped himself away from his ex and watched me surprised. I turned and ran, surprising even myself on how much energy I had in my body. Cameron had played basketball while in highschool and was a super fast runner, so lets just say he easily caught up with me. Grabbing my arm, I spun in his hold so that I was facing him. Tears were streaming down my face as I struggled against his hold.
"Cass.."
"No..! Leave me alone, Cameron! You told me you were different!"
"I am!"
"No..! You're not..! You know I didn't want to be with someone like my dad..! You know I didn't want to deal with that kind of heartbreak..! You're just like the rest..! You use girls to get what you really want..! I was just to make it so you could back with her, wasn't I..?!"
I finally yanked my arm away from his hold and glared at him, pure ice slowly covering my heart.
"I never want to see you again, Cameron. We're over."
And with that, I ran once again but he didn't follow me. I guess what I said was right.
"Cassie? Cassie, hello, are you still with us?" Kellin asked, waving a hand in front of my face crazily.
"Uh, what? Yea, I am here," I responded.
"Ok, you zoned out again," Barbara said.
"Yea, what were you thinking about?" Brooklynn asked.
"You were thinking about the day you and Cameron broke up again.. weren't you..?" Barbara asked, worry shining in her blue eyes.
"Yea, sorry, what were we talking about again?" I asked.
"We were talking about the masquerade ball that's happening next week," Kellin responded.
"Yea, what is everybody wearing to it?" asked Brooklynn.
"Yea, well, I'm not going," I said.
"Come on.. if I'm going then you have to as well," Barbara spoke, a soft whine hinting at her voice.
"What's the point of going to a ball and seeing everybody all cute and cuddly with their dates and not have a date. Personally, I think it's stupid," I responded.
"You're going and that's final. Now, we have to go and find you four's dresses and my tux," Kellin spoke.
"Ugh, fine," I responded.
"LET'S GO TO WONDERLAND!" Barbara yelled. Everyone laughed.

~Taylor's POV~
"Hey, Cameron, are you going to the masquerade ball next week?" I asked."Yea, so are the others. Right now, we're all heading to the store to find a tux. Are you coming?" He said.
"Yea, just let me grab my wallet and keys," I responded.
I grabbed my wallet and keys and headed out to the car. Cameron called a uber earlier, that had arrived recently. When I got into the car I saw that Sam wasn't with us.
"Were is Sam at?" I asked, wondering about our friend.
"He didn't feel like coming today. He said he would get his another day," Kian said.
"Oh, ok," was all I said.
When we got to the mall, we went inside a store and Cameron went to a different one. When we got inside we started looking around and I saw a girl with her friends. One of her friends said "hi" to Kian.
"Hey, Kian, who was that?" I asked.
"That's my girlfriend, Barbara, and her friends," he responded.
"Who is the red hair girl with her?" I asked.
"Oh, that would be Cassie but be careful. She's dated both Sam and Cameron," he responded.
"Really? What happen?" I asked, wondering.
"That's not really our place to tell but let's just say it was bad and partially our fault when it came to Sam," Jc responded.
"Oh ok..," I murmured softly, watching the red head quietly.
I don't know what it is about her that makes me so intrigued but I want to get to know her. We kept looking around until we found the right one. When we found them, we checked out and headed back home. Maybe, just maybe, I'll see her next week at the ball.

~Cassie's POV~
We headed to the dress shop that's in the mall first. I was looking around with Kellin because he is good at telling people what would look good on them. We were looking at a pastel pink dress and he told me to go and try it on. I was in the dressing room and Kellin asked me from outside the door."So, since you don't have a date to the ball, and neither does Brooklynn or me, do you want to go with us as friends?"
"Sure, that sounds fun," I said as I walked out of the dressing room and looked in the mirror in awe.
"That's it. That's the one. Now go change so we can find the others. Then we can go get my tux," he responded. I nodded.
I went back in the dressing room and changed. We headed back to find the others. When we found them, we headed to the check-out register and checked out. Next up was the tux store. We went in and looked around and I heard Barbara say "hi" to someone and I turned around to see who it was. When I turned I saw Kian, Jc, and some other dude with them. I hope to god Cameron isn't here. I look over and see Kellin freaking out.
"Oh my gosh..!~ What is he doing here?~ Guys, what if he comes up and talks to me? What am I suppose to do?" he questioned wildly while pacing back and forth.
"Just act natural and finish what we came here to do," Brooklynn responded
We kept looking around and once we found the one he wanted, we checked out. Before we left I went up to Kian and whispered to him.
"If your wondering, Barb's dress is red."
With that, I left. We headed home and when we got there I went to my room and went to bed.
