Chapter 5 - All About Us

I sat there waiting for her to arrive. I just hope that she won't run away when she sees that it's me in here this time. 

I called Summer early in the morning and told her about my plan and asked her if she knows any place that I can bring Elisa to without anyone else overhearing our conversation. She said that she has 2 extra VIP tickets to this restaurant called Dreamer's Paradise which just recently opened, I told her that that is the perfect place and she said she'll even help me ask Elisa for me, seeing as we're not really on speaking terms. 

I wanted to scream and hug her! This is why she's the best person to ask. She said that in return for this massive favour, I have to give her front row tickets for our tour in Manchester. Of course I said I'll give her tickets, it was a request that I could easily fulfill.

And now here I am, in the VIP room of Dreamer's Paradise waiting for the love of my life and hoping that i'll get a chance to at least explain myself. 

I heard the doorknob turning and positioned myself properly. 

The door opened and I finally saw her. She stood there speechless, and stood rooted to the ground for a full 10 sconds. She looked gorgeous in that blue caribbean dress that I love seeing her in. It just shows off her curves nicely. Focus Louis. You're suppose to be here explaining yourself. Get that over with first. But it was really hard to focus, seeing as how beautiful she looked.

She regained herself and said "What are you doing here?!" her voice rising. 

I stood up and held her hand. "I'm here to explain myself. I didn't know what else to do, so I set up a candlelight dinner." I smiled sheepishly. 

Elisa's POV 

I was too shocked for words when I saw Lou in the room. But when I saw how much effort he put in to arrange this, I gave in and pulled his hand, which was still holding mine, to sit and start on our meal and eventually give him a chance to talk.

He started telling me everything from the beginning. From the text message to the incident that happened in the locker room. I listened and came to a conclusion that what he's saying is actually true. 

I knew that Lisa has had a crush on him since forever. But he could have at least subtly told me about everything that has happened. I would've helped him through it all. What's worse, I can't believe I didn't trust him at all when he said that he wasn't at any fault. I'm such a horrible person! 

He looked at me, waiting for my response. "I believe you." I said barely a whisper. 

"Really? That's wonderful! So, are we back together?" he asked excitedly. 

"No. You're "still" with Lisa remember." I said in a matter of fact tone. 

"Yeah right. I meant after all of this is over, there's still an us right?" he pressed.

"I guess so..." I said. 

"What's wrong? Don't you want to be with me anymore?" he asked. 

"No! It's not that. It's just that...I can't believe I didn't trust you all this time. I'm unbelievable!" I shouted.

"It's not your fault Eli, you know that." he said angrily. 

I stood up, getting ready to leave. "I guess this time the problem is me. I just can't accept the fact that I didn't trust you. I should have and instead, I let what I saw deceive me instead. I know it's not a big deal for you but it is for me." I said with tears in my eyes. 

Louis stood up and wiped the tears in my eyes. "It's gonna be okay, I promise. Just remember I'm always here whenever you need me alright?" he said and leaned in for a kiss. 

The kiss was how I remember it to be. Soft and passionate. He tasted so much of carrots, which he loves, but I don't mind. But I still can't shake off the feeling of anger at myself because I such a lousy girlfriend. 

I broke the kiss and immediately ran off. I don't deserve someone like him. How could I? I couldn't even trust him with the simplest things like when he's telling he he didn't do anything. 

He called my name forcing me to stop but I didn't. I ran down the stairs and out the exit. I didn't bother taking my car coz he'll eventually catch up. 

I'm sorry Lou, it's better for you to find another girl who's more deserving than me. I just can't bear to see you hurt because of me. This is for the best. 

I was too caught up with my own thoughts that before I knew it, someone had grabbed me from the back and pinned me on the ground in a deserted alley.

It was Tyler Richardson, Lisa's on and off boyfriend. What was he doing here?! 

"So, I heard that you knew about Lisa's plan." he said. 

"Well, I guess it's time to make you pay. Nobody gets in the way of Lisa's plan and gets away with it!" he chuckled darkly. 

Ohmygoodness! What am I to do?! Someone help me please! I shouted in my head. Someone! Anyone! Louis!

Tyler wasted no time and took a knife out of his back pocket and raised it to his head. I started to squirm frantically and tried to escape from his grasp but to no avail. 

I screamed when the knife was mere inches away from my face and all of a sudden Tyler was pulled back and I was saved! 

It was Lou. And he looked really mad. I've never seen him this mad before. 

"Oh, look what we have here! It's lil Louis! Coming to save your girlfriend aren't you? Well, too bad you can't coz Lisa knew you would backstab her and asked me to follow you. She was damn right! Now all I gotta do is kill your pretty litle girl here and then I can leave!" he said in that horrible husky voice and laughed uncontrollably. 

"Leave her alone! It's me you want right? Just finish me here instead!" Louis shouted.

"No!" I protested. "Louis you can't! Don't do this! I'm not worth it!" I yelled. 

"Now's not the time for that Elisa! You better run right now! Get to a safe place! I'll be right with you!" he called out. 

When I didn't move he shouted for me to run again. I started running the opposite direction from which I came from and moments later, I heard a loud piercing scream cutting through the air. Louis. Oh my God. No. It can't be.

I ran back and found him lying unconcious on the ground. 

Louis' POV 

When I finally saw her running away, I breathed a sigh of relief. She's away from danger now. 

"Aw, that's no fun. I was hoping to be able to kill her but I guess that's not gonna happen right now. It'd be good to see you slowly suffering because of that bitch." he said and spat on the ground. 

"Insult me all you want but insulting my girl is unacceptable!" I shouted and ran towards him and punched him in the gut. 

"Why you little -" he said and came at me with the knife. 

I was able to dodge all his attacks but not the next one. It came from below and i wasn't able to see it due to the lack of lights in the alley.

I felt a sharp pain coming from my stomach. I looked down and saw that the knife had pierced through my abdomen. Blood was quickly forming on my shirt I stumbled on the ground. 

Tyler looked shocked and started to panic. "Sorry dude, I..I didn't mean to I swear!" and then he ran off. 

I lay there on the ground thinking if this is the end. At least Elisa is safe. The lads will take care of her for me. I know they will. And i'm glad that Elisa believed me. I have no regrets. 

And then everything turned black. </pre>
