Chapter 7 - Never Let You Go

Elisa's POV 

I got up early and starting getting ready to go to the hospital. Zayn picked me up as usual and we stopped by the grocer first before making our wy to the hospital. Gotta get some fruits and vegetables that Louis' loves, especially carrots. 

Harry and Caitlin said they will be dropping by later to visit and she also said that she needed to talk to me about something. Probably something between her and Haz. 

Liam said he'll drop by after his date with Danielle and Niall was out at Nandos by himself eating his fill. He suggested we all go there once Lou recovers and have a mini celebration. Sounds like a plan. I texted him and told him to hurry up and come here already coz we can't start without him.

When Zayn pulled up in front of the hospital, he told me to go on ahead as he needed to find a parking space and he'll be right behind me. Once I reach room number 2824 on the 12th floor, I found Harry and Cailin already there waiting. 

We all got a call this morning from the local policemen saying that he'll meet us all in Lou's room to bring us some news. I was wondering what was so important that he couldn't say over the phone, guess we'll have to wait. 

I walked over and hugged Haz and Caitlin and told her that we'll talk outside in a while. I told Harry to watch over Lou as me and Cat needed to talk in private as Zayn came in with all the groceries. They both unpacked while we girls stepped out of the room and sat on the chairs in the cafeteria a few rooms away from Lou's. 

"So, what's up?" I asked. 

"Well, I'm not really complaining but ever since Lou got into that accident, Haz has been very sweet to me. Always sending me to school and bringing me home, carrying my books and everything. But he hasn't asked me out to Prom yet! And it's in a week's time! What now? Am I suppose to do all the talking? " she whispered, afraid people'll hear how ridiculous it was to fuss over such a small matter. 

"Well, I guess it's pretty obvious that both of you are going together. Seeing how much time you guys spend a lot of time with each other, it's probably he knows that he'll end up going with you anyway so why ask..." I replied. 

"But it still feels different if he dies ask though...If he doesn't ask by tonight I swear I'll find someone else to go with!" she responded. "Are you by any chance going E?" she asked. 

"Well, if Lou miraculously recovers, sure. But I don't mind not going if he's not there, I mean what's the point right?" I said. 

"Still, you have to go! It's a once in a lifetime thing! If Lou still can't go, just ask Niall! I heard he's not going with anyone, i'm sure he'd love o go with you!" she persuaded. 

"We'll see. Oh hey, don't fuss too much about the one we just talked about alright? I gotta hunch he'll ask you later when he sends you home! How could he not?! You're the only girl he's ever laid eyes on!" I smiled. 

She smiled back and my phone started ringing. It's from Niall. 

"Hello" I answered.

"Hey E! I'll be in the hospital in 5! Just thought I should let you know! Don't start without me alright!" he shouted on the phone. He must've had his meal 'coz he sounded hyper and excited. Always happens when he's eaten from his favourite place. 

"Alright! See you in a bit!" I said and hung up. 

"We should be getting back, Niall's gonna be here any minute.." I told Caitlin.
