Amy's P.O.V
I walked around the room in a panic. "What am I going to do? What am I going to do?" I kept on repeating out loud.
"Whoah, Amy. Calm down." Crystal said to me, standing up from the couch. I stopped walking and just stood there, breathing in and out until my heartbeat returned to normal.
"Now, why are you so freaked out?" Crystal asked.
A couple of minutes ago, Crystal and the girls came downstairs to find me panicking about something and they've been trying to figure out why. Of course, I didn't say anything 'cause I was freaking out.
"Well.." I started. "I had my fortune told. Sort of..." Everyone stared at me in confusion, except Crystal. She walked towards me and lifted the sleeve of my red sweater, revealing a crescent moon.
"I can't believe you! You used my cards?!? And didn't ask me?! Why?!?" She asked furiously. I glanced at her, but mainly put my attention on the very confused girls.
"What's Crytal talking about? What Cards?" Blaze asked. I looked at Crystal, looking at her in a way that implied that she had to answer that question. Crystal sighed, and began, "Well, because I am the moon element, I am able to look into the future at will, although I know I wasn't as good as The moon element before me. So, I got these special, one of a kind cards, and I infused some of my physic powers in them. Once you arrange the cards and pick 5 of them, the cards will lead you to the one you have to turn, from first to last, and in the end, it would tell you part of the future or what's to come." Cream looked at her in awe. "That's amazing! So you just shuffle them and pick five cards? And then it tells you your fortune?"
Crystal gave an awkward smile and said: "not exactly. You see, the cards only work at night, and are completely normal in the day." She turned to me. "And what I don't understand is how you got that mark now, during the day."
"What are you talking about? What mark?" Blaze asked. I turned back to them, this time deciding to explain this.
"Well, if you use the cards, you get a crescent moon on your wrist, letting the owner of the cards, Crystal, know that they used them, but the mark fades away when it becomes day. Also, since Crystal owns the cards, she has a permanent mark on her wrist." I said. Crystal rolled up her sleeve on her right arm and showed them the sign, which was also a crescent moon, but it also happens to be like a clock, telling her what the moon will look like that night by becoming fuller each night.
"Yeah. Now would you care to tell me how you have the mark now? In the daytime?" She asks me, putting the sleeve back down.
"Well, I used some of my sun powers to make them work in the daytime. But it's only for today!" I say quickly, nervously laughing at the end.
"Umm, I don't mean to be rude darlings, but you still haven't told us why you were freaking out earlier," Rouge said, interrupting.
"Oh yeah!" I said, remembering, glad for the change of subject. "Well, I was shuffling the cards...
